Of all the flavors of all the wet cat foods, this is the one my kitten and adult cats straight up harass me for. 😂 I used to get the variety packs from this brand but I stopped and just subscribed to this one… They are absolutely obsessed and finish it immediately every time… and then literally BEG for more. Be warned!

First off, shout out to Amazon and UPS for always delivering to my apartment. I'm almost never disappointed by these services. Seriously, two years now of packages delivered every week (I have really bad anxiety, so shopping in public is really hard if not impossible for me) and I think only two packages have ever been lost, and I know it wasn't Amazon's or UPS's fault (shady neighbors)Finally, this cat food. It's a little expensive for us, our income isn't ... This is a luxury item. But our cat is older, and she's lost a lot of teeth because of bad care from the past, so she deserves the best we can get her. And this is it, we try others, but she really won't eat anything else. She'll go on strike for a couple days, or until I break, waiting for this. As far as I can tell this is a higher quality food for cats: real veggies that aren't just fillers, lots of gravy for hydration, no wheat or grain fillers. It's crude meat, but...we can't really afford full unprocessed chunks of meat. I feel okay feeding this to my cat, because since she's been eating it, her fur has become so shiny and sleek, she doesn't have dandruff or flakes anymore, she had so much energy, like she is awake during the day again! And she hasn't vomited for almost a year now...she vomited recently, because it's Christmas, and she always eats part of the tree... because that's what cats do...but she seems so much better on wet food, and on this wet food.

This cat food is amazing. My cat is about 5 years old and he's had digestive problems in the past, so I have to be very careful about what I feed him. I think he developed an allergy to the last food he was on so I switched him to Natural Balance and I haven't had a problem since. Both the dry food and this are truly great. He likes the dry food okay, but he goes crazy for the pouch stuff. It has a strong fishy smell that he loves and it has a lot of gravy. You can see the real veggies they use and it has real ingredients that are easy on his stomach. My little guy loves eating every bit this food and bothers me to feed him when it gets close to his feeding time. It's a great product but I do wish it was a little cheaper or that they would have specials or coupons for it.

This is the 'morsels' type cat food with little rectangles of meat mixed in with gravy and some vegetables. There are only a few of the vegetables and my cat eats them as happily as the rest of it -- and my cat will pick through dry food to eat only the kind they like if I mix two varieties and one of them doesn't measure up, so that's a compliment.The ingredients are great: no by-products, and the first four ingredients are chicken broth, chicken, chicken liver, and dried egg whites. Next is peas -- showing that this is mostly those first 4 ingredients because there are only 1 or 2 peas per bag. It's a little stinky because of the liver, but overall, very worth it. I feel much better about the amount of waste created, and the box it comes in is conveniently re-closable so that my wily cat doesn't go opening the packages on their own. As long as the price doesn't go up, I'll be re-ordering when I run low.

I purchased 'Natural Balance 3-Ounce Platefuls Indoor Mackerel and Sardine Formula in Gravy Entree for Cats', but no where was it advertised that the food comes in large square shaped pieces of meat. I don't know if all their cat food varieties comes in this large square shape or not, but my cats prefer to eat ground meat or meat that comes as a 'pate'. The Squares of mackerel & sardines are very big and all my cats do is to lick out all the gravy and leave behind most of these squares of food. When you purchase fancy feast cat food, they pretty much tell you what the form of the food is like inside of the can. So does 9-lives, but unfortunately, 'Natural Balance' did not say this at all. I recall purchasing mackerel by 'Merrick' as they put in their food actual pieces of 'mackerel' as they come off the fish itself just as 'Petite Cuisine' has flakes of fish in them also. This my cat loves! But this is not the case with Natural Balance. It's like the consistency of the meat that you eat when you're eating a 'Gyro'. I guess my cats are too lazy to chew them, and so I'm stuck with them, as I purchased a case of 24. I have 3 cats that are indoor cats and one cat that I feed only outdoors because he's feral.Not even my feral cat and his buddy will eat it. They too just lick out the gravy!Natural Balance is not sold in my neighborhood. If they were I would have tried out a packet first. I'm sure that they are a very healthy food, and this food also has a few bits of vegetables in them which my cat did eat since the vegetables appear very small in size. I was so sure that they were going to be a hit! I'm afraid that I'm a bit disappointed.

My cats LOVE these Natural Balance Platefuls Wet Cat Food pouches. They turn their noses up at pate, and will accept the stringy food types, but they really prefer the meat morsels in these pouches. They enjoy all of the flavors (with the Pumpkin the least and Tuna & Beef the favorite). As a pet mom, I like the water content and the ingredient list. Price wise it is kind of middle of the road, but it is quality and is definitely worth the price.

It seems like good cat food. Looks good, smells good and my two finicky cats seem to like it, so that is what counts. As long as they eat it, I will buy it again for them but probably try a different flavor so they don't get tired of the same one all the time.
