Take One

Everything was good. I knew was buying!

I just discovered this recently actually, had no idea it was before Idol days and that it was actually released around the same time as his first album "For Your Entertainment". I love this album so much! Regardless that Adam didn't write any of the songs, there isn't a single song on this whole album that I don't like. I listen to all of them over and over. Great music and Adam's voice is exceptional as always! Highly recommended for fellow Glamberts!

While I love Adam Lambert I was not impressed with this cd.. the songs were too alike . I know he had a lot of collaboration on these, maybe he would have been better off on his own.

Old work passed off as something current. I swear it wasn't even Adam singing some of the tracks. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing.

First, I love the cover photo. Second, Adam's vocals on this CD are sexy sexy. I love the style of this material. Another must have in my collection. A "Yes"

Not as upbeat as his future albums, but still some great songs. I am so glad I now have all his albums.

My daughter loves it!

I know and understand the reasoning behind Adam not being thrilled this album was released (not his style) and the objections Glamberts have as I have been a Glambert since Day One. However, whether we like it or not, he was paid for doing these songs and the company was within its rights to release them, however shady it may be. That said, one shouldn't be so quick to dismiss this album. Yes it is not Adam's style -- no glam, no rock. However, he has the vocal prowess to make even this mish-mashed (and sometimes lame) collection of songs sound like vocal masterpieces. Some are in his lower range, which I happen to really enjoy and, while it isn't "him," it certainly proves that this man can sing ANYTHING! It is worth a listen if for no other reason than to hear a piece of Adam's musical journey before he hit it big.

アダム非公認のアルバムです。彼が昔バイトでした、他のミュージシャンの為のデモ作りのやつ(ただ録ったやつ)を、今更、アダムが有名になったからと、このレコード会社がアダムの意思関係なくCDにして発売したアルバムです。アダムがショックだと、認めてないという声明を出した事から、ファンはこのアルバムにたいして不買活動してます。確かにアダムの声だし悪くはないです。ただ、そんな経緯から作られたアルバムなので、思いっきり歌ってないというか、出来がイマイチです。アダムファンが聞くとあれ?っとがっかりする内容です。

こちらはジャケ写がありませんが、Adamの画像のある「Take One」と同じCDです。画像アリの方のレビューを拝見して、確かに初め聴いた時「本人か?」と同じ感想でした。曲も何か暗いし聴いていてつまらない。 そして後日、次のレビューにかなり衝撃を受けました。 購入したのをすごく後悔してます。レビューを書いて下さった方に感謝です。Adamが認めていないものを評価する必要は無いと思っていますが、必須のようなので取り敢えず☆1つけますが、気持ちは「評価無し」です。
