One mans lost soul will bring more death than any Angel would want to see, will love stop it all.?
This story has s9 many of the law enforcement ladies that made it such a great read. So good to see Cameron and Andi. Tori and Sam were center but the clash between Tori and Cameron had me snickering. I also give a great shout out to Gerri Hill who made me like a killer. I was genuinely sad for him at the end. Acworlwind of emotions, a magnificent mountain hike, even more twists has the story unfolded. As usual I loved this story and listened to Abby Craden's beautiful voice bring characters to life.

All our favorite character couples together
All three of our favorite law enforcement character couples end up together caught up in an ex-military special ops' New Mexico murderous rampage, $3 million robbery heist & kidnapping crime spree. This book is filled with more of the action that we love from both these series, with moments of love, relationships & humanity mixed throughout.

Angel Fire-a double sequel
I enjoyed this book immensely because of the ultimate pairing of Tori and Cameron. These are two central characters in the Gerri Hill world that I love. Though I will say I have a greater thing for Cameron then Tori only because Cameron is more fun in some ways. I love having the sequel for what I consider to be the Andrea and Cameron stories and Tori and Samantha stories together. I thought it was a great way to bring everything together but I was not impressed with the plot. I just thought that there would be more to it and that it will involve some a conspiracy that Angel was involved with instead of really just being about the money. I still loved reading about Tori and Cameron meeting and being forced to work together so if you're someone who loves these characters then you'll love this book.

I always enjoy seeing how an author improves as time goes by
I always enjoy seeing how an author improves as time goes by, as they mature, and learn their craft. This was definitely the case with Gerri Hill. My wife and I read all the Hunter's Way and Devil's Rock series. This book was a great culmination. It is the best written of the bunch. The characters, familiar to us after reading the other titles, had become real. This book gave them greater depth. And the plot is more tightly constructed. The pages flew by as we had to read just one more chapter...or a few more after that. It kept us riveted. We enjoyed this "read" tremendously and look forward to enjoying more stories by Gerri Hill.

Good read.
This time I was really worried for Sam. I was convinced the Gerri was finally going to finished this character in a horrible way. As usual, Tori was strong but the added dimension of adding Cameron and Andrea was quite good. The power struggle between a desperate Tori and the seasoned Cameron was interesting. I thought they might come to blows a few points in the book. I'm still a little confused over Angel, and his maladjustment to civilian life. Great read though, and I hope this isn't the end of the Hunter Series. I have grown so attached to Tori and Sam.

Loved this book
Loved this book! Gerri, yet again, has me riveted. There were a few things that had me "NO, don't tell him..." for one. I wondered through out "How is this going to end?". You have ideas that form in your mind at the outcome. Ms. Gerri is one of the authors that I hope will be out there for a long time. She had me hooked on the first book I read "Hunters Way" & can't tell you how many times I have read it.

Decent read
I was a little disappointed with the compilation of all of these great characters. However, the storyline itself was interesting. I like how the story focuses on Sam more since she was basically non-existent in In The Name Of The Father, and shows a more human side of her and how she's able to connect with people on an emotional level. I feel like her story showed more of why her and Tori are made for each other, other than by just reading their individual emotions for one another.

Gerry Hill is an awesome writer
I have read every single one of Gerri Hill's books and have not once been disappointed. She has a way of writing that draws you in and makes you feel a part of the story. It's almost as if the characters are flesh and blood and can walk right off the page and have a cup of tea with you. A remarkable talent. I first read her books as part of the fan fiction genre of the late 90's and haven't been able to resist getting each book as soon as it becomes available. Already pining for the next one! π

You can't win them all!
I'm a great fan of Gerri Hill's work but I'm sorry to say that I didn't enjoy this one as much as usual. It seemed laboured in some ways, and poor old Sam got kidnapped again! It was great to have characters from different books coming together, and that worked well. I enjoyed the banter and the rivalry between Tori and Cameron but there was just something that stopped it from pleasing me as much as Gerri's books usually do..I really do love Gerri's work - but you can't win them all!

Another excellent read from Gerri as I have come to expect. Her characters are very well drawn and the suspense first rate. Cannot wait for the next instalment.
