I took note of the reviews and ordered a size bigger which meant to hung well across my bust. It is so comfortable and the sheer fabric just gives a little coverage to my wobbly bingo wings without feeling covered over. I wore it with a sleeveless black dress and also a strapless red dress and both looked lovely. Roman is a great brand. I'd be happy recommending this and would look at this again if I needed another one in a different colour. It's sheer without being overly dark.

I bought the silver grey to wear over a navy dress for my nephew's wedding later this year. I'm wearing silver jewellery and my bag has silver sequins so I felt the grey would be a better match. I don't like bare arms, so this is the ideal cover up. I'm a 14-16 usually and bought the 16 and it fits perfectly. As another reviewer stated, it's a proper bolero and sits either side of my bust (although I've a fair size bust anyway lol), which to me is the way it should look, and I also didn't want to detract from the look of my beautiful dress ! It's a gorgeous bolero, sheer chiffon, with a gathered back, just at the bottom. It sits exactly where it should, just on my waist (I'm 5ft 3). I don't think it would look right lower or higher. I love how the neckline looks too, it sits nicely against you. I loved it so much I bought the navy and black too. They'll all be great for wearing with sleeveless dresses. I'm soooo looking forward to wearing them all in the future ! :-)

I bought this to wear to a wedding on top of my dress and it really did just set my outfit off. It was comfy to wear, it fitted perfectly and it kept me cosy. I loved that it was 3/4 sleeved as it was perfect for me to show off my wrist corsage. It will also go with different dresses and I’m looking forward to wearing with different outfits ie dress tops, dresses, dress it up or even dress it down. I’d definitely be recommending this to friends with it coming into the festive season.

I have bought this to go over a sleeveless dress I am wearing to a wedding. The top is just as described. Great for weddings, parties, to wear on a cruise etc. As recommended I ordered the next size up from my normal size. It arrived promptly and fits well. The only thing I would change about it is I wish the back came up a bit shorter. It still looks fine but I am quite short (5ft 1) and so from shoulder to waist on me is less than most ladies. However I don't regret buying it, it is a minor thing and probably only me thinking it.

This Bolero Shrug Jacket has quality written all over it and the style is simply gorgeous, great item to have for a special occasion.However, the only reason I couldn’t give it as planned to a friend for a milestone birthday was that the plastic covering was ripped down the front and it was opened at the bottom and I ended up paying return postage.

Purchased for my Mum to go over a lace dress. Went up a size (to a 20) whilst it fits and looks nice, Mum was surprised at how small it felt considering she normally buys an 18. The picture makes it look like you could pull the jacket over the chest but it is a true Bolero ie very fitted and sits either side of the breast. Purchased in the sale and at £10 was a great price.
