Many cut and tied pieces of yarn throughout the skein. Especially the pink.
I purchased many skeins of this baby yearn to make a crib blanket for a gift. As I started making the blanket I had noticed many cut and retied parts of the yarn. Unfortunately this resulted in many hundreds of stitches being removed as the cut and retied yarn made it unsightly and I feel it weakens the stress points of a blanket unless it is at the end on a row and needs to be cut to and retied to begin a new color. I have made hundreds of baby blankets in the past and will be making lots more. I am hesitant to purchase this brand again.

color not periwinkle
The color is more purple/lavender, not periwinkle blue. Second issue is my own fault. Seeing cotton on the label, not cotton blend, I didn't read description closely enough. It's 60% cotton 40% poly. Not at all what I needed. Haven't removed them from their plastic wrappers as I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet.Also, a product of China, not made in the USA.

As an admitted yarn snob I was a little concerned when I noticed this was a Cotton/Acrylic blend. Then I pulled it out of the package and I was a goner after the first squeez!!!! If you remember the old Charmin commercials .....I just squeezed the yarn for an hour. It is soooooo soft and pluffy. Great stitch definition and it did not split on me.

Picture is deceiving
Color is more Lavender . I thought it would look like a light blue periwinkle as pictured. Soft yarn I will use eventually , too bad I ha e to go to the store now.

Soft as cotton
I ordered Bernat cotton by mistake. I needed acrylic. I will however, keep it to go with my other cotton yarn for a future project. The color was true for the afghan I wanted to complete. I have worked with Bernat cotton in the past and it is my go-to brand when working with cotton.

My favourite yarn
This has been my favourite yarn to work with. Its also quite soft which makes it perfect for clothing. Wish there were more grown up colours!
