Fixed issue on my HP printer
I had a problem with a color cartridge in which my printer was erroring out (defective cartridge).... I tracked it down to this color and after replacing my printer now works again, thanks!!

Could not use in defective HP printer
I believe the cartridge would have been fine. I was not able to get the printer to read the cartridge due to a problem with the HP printer.

Sorry, did not work on hp 8600 premium - gave printer failure - check ink system error
Was hoping that this would work since Monoprice stopped making the generic version which still works. Tried putting it - has a plastic chip (very weird!) and also a thin plastic covering the nozzle - not sure if I need to remove it. I left it as-is and inserted the cartridge, did not work - printer gave printer failure error. Put the old generic cartridge and it works. Need to setup for a return unfortunately.
