Really cool scope.
Its pretty cool. The only downside is it 0's at 200 yards. I am using it on a .44 mag. Henry Golden Boy, and the pistol round won't go that far accurately. No worries, I will still 0' @ 100 yrds.

Very poor quality
Leatherwood Art Scope04/03/19I no longer use this scope due to unreliability. I expressed my displeasure with this Chinese made pos with the manufacturer. And was offered a 300.00 store credit. I went down to my local dealer iron mike and reviewed the available scopes. Quality is so poor I decided to go with another brand. After watching rexreviews I chose SWFA SS milspec totally satisfied. For DMR Primary Arms ACSS.Save time and aggravation do not purchase hi lux products.12/13/17I have received an update from the manufacturer. I quote. The scope I sent back was an early production model. They are sending me a new scope which has been improved. i will keep y’all posted.11/16/17Having been asked on many occasions how I like my Hi-Lux Leatherwood scope I am finally able to offer my honest opinion. It is a Chinese made piece of #@!@!#.In Brief if you plan to use it for anything other than a conversation piece forget about it, move on. I have had nothing but trouble out of this Chinese made !@#$. My other Hi-Lux a CMR has been fine. So I took a chance and purchased the ART 1200 based on the Leatherwood reputation. Thinking I would be able to teach my children to shoot long distance. This is due to the calibrated ranging. So what was the problem? After about 10 rounds out of my M12 same for AR10. The calibrated base comes loose. The scope will not hold Zero at 100 meters. Heck it is not even on paper. You spend $600.00 on a scope, does it seem reasonable that it would hold zero? Im talking about holding zero from one shot to the next. As far as turrent tracking expectations. These were set low I don’t expect a 600.00 scope to track accurately and I was not disappointed . So after several trips to the local optics shop to have the scope fixed with no luck. I contacted the manufacturer who made a less than generous offer of $300.00 trade in value for the defective product in exchange for a new scope. I have considered a couple of the Hi-Lux scopes and found the optics to be terrible. One of these was the 1-8 CMR 34 mm tube looking through the glass the wall eye was terrible. It is a first focal plane scope and I don’t think I have ever seen so much reticle shift. It was like looking through a box of marbles. please forgive the exaggeration in this analogy but you get my meaning I hope. I am told it does better at higher magnifications. I also considered the Phenom scope but for 500.00 difference in cost. I would just go with another SWFA SS (my current intermediate range scope) or maybe a Primary arms with the ACRS reticle. These are all getting excellent reviews (Take a look at Rex Reports). I am very disappointed that the Leatherwood name no longer means quality and dependability.6/15/2016 Initial review before the calibration problem emergedExtremely satisfied with the quality of the product. The glass is very bright diopter adjustment is excellent. The instructions could be a little more clear. This is a complicated scope at first glance took a little bit for me to understand the relation ship between the different rings. But once understood it has shown to be very accurate. I will be updating this review as I get into long range shooting.I can say that of all the scopes I have tests in this price range I do believe this to be the best value. No math no ballistic calculations. No come up sense. Just sight adjust and fire. Sight adjust with the left hand fire with the right. AmazingI will be updating as I get more familiar.3/7/16 working the scope for intermediate range using AR-15 223 ammo is m262 clone. Ranging systems is superb and keeping up with the ammo trajectory at range. Optics are clear all controls work excellent. Very impressed with the scope.Updating my Post after two years this was a wast of time, ammo and money.
