Q: what are the dimensions of this handlebar? 7/8 inch (22mm) or 1" (25mm)?

These handlebars are a standard 1 inch (25mm). Should work with almost any cruiser.

Q: I'm wanting the old school look for my 02Kawasaki Nomad. Do these have that look and will they fit without cable stress?

I suppose that depends on your definition of an old school look. They are definitely wider bars, and although I replaced a set of drag bars and never rode with stock ones I think these are nicer than stock. They make the bike feel very nimble. On my 06 1500 I had enough room in the cables, but a little less slack than I thought would be left. It's caused no issues however

Q: Will these bars fit 97 Kawasaki Vulcan 800b,if not where could I get some?

Just verify if your handlebar support is 1" diameter. Or if your actual handlebar is 1". I don't know how the controls are attached to the handlebar, but in Honda there is a hole in the handlebar which the controls attached. Anyway I had to drill a holes on mine. This handlebar is awesome. Ride safe!!
