Aesop Body Care Resurrection Hand Balm (Tube) 75ml/2.58oz

This is the BEST smelling handcream if you like a luxury, non-fruity/girly smell! It smells exactly like the three scents listed. It’s also super absorbent and not greasy, but leaves the hands super soft. Two things I hate to skimp on are shampoo and hand cream, and this is worth every penny!

I received this as a gift, and am thankful every time I use it. Smells amazing, Non greasy, and effects are long lasting. Have ordered more to start gifting to friends and family. Everyone just loves it. The only thing I didn't like, is it ships in an envelope vs. a box, and tube may arrive looking worse for the wear. Not cool for a high end product. Poor shipping choice by Amazon. And I'm aware Shipping manager--an envelope weighs less. Should not be your primary consideration at this price point.

I've only been using the Resurrection hand cream for three days now, but my formerly dry and peeling fingertips are already smooth and my cuticles are now in excellent shape -- no additional cuticle creams or treatments required! The backs of my hands were never dry -- I've just had fairly recent issues with peeling fingertips and toughening cuticles, which was perplexing, because I'm not doing manual labor or exposing my hands to harsh chemicals. I've always taken care of my hands, though other than keeping my nails trimmed, smooth and well shaped, I've never adorned them with bracelets, nail polish, rings, etc. But what I save on manicures and jewelry, I'm more than willing to invest in quality hand treatments! So I consider this very effective cream a reasonable expense, as a pea-size amount is plenty to thoroughly moisturize my hands and enough to also massage into my cuticles. And it truly does absorb quickly and completely, so I don't have to wipe my fingertips on a tissue after applying it, which means they're getting the full benefit of the cream. As for the scent, the mandarin rind is very subtle, and I mostly notice the herbaceous notes. I neither love nor dislike the scent, and as it doesn't linger, it's a non-issue. But I can see why the scent would appeal to men.My normal preference is for hand treatments that have some anti-aging properties, but none of them helped alleviate the dry fingertip issues, so they were never an all-in-one solution. This Aesop product is so amazingly transformative that I'm now a committed convert. And if I want to add some anti-aging oomph, I can just apply the same serums I use on my face to the backs of my hands before using the Aesop cream, adding a final layer of sunscreen for when I'm going to be outdoors or driving.Wish I could afford more of the other Aesop products. I was given a sample of the facial exfoliant and barrier cream a few years ago, and the effects were amazing. I've used good quality physical and chemical facial exfoliants for years, and felt they were doing an effective job. But the Aesop exfoliant -- which seemed to have too soft and fine a texture to be effective -- was a revelation. Alas, the barrier cream is out of my budget for now, and is probably heavier than I need, but I'll be buying the facial exfoliant soon, and will continue to buy the amazing Resurrection hand cream.
