Dover Creative Haven Tessellation Patterns Coloring Book (Adult Coloring Books: Art & Design)

I love the patterns and the variety of different designs.

This was just a so-so adult coloring book.Nothing special, too many poorly designed patterns.Price was average. Fast Amazon shipping

I used this product as an adult for coloring for leisure. I love this book! I think it might be my favorite of all my coloring books, and I have more than 20. It has repetitive patterns, which I really like because you can do the same colors for each repeating section. It is fairly detailed, but not so much to drive you crazy. I like that it is a good size of shapes to use with Paper Mate Flair pens, which I love coloring with. I have only colored I think 3 of the pages so far, but I have really been enjoying it. It is a great coloring book.

I love to doodle and so this coloring book really was my style.

This is the 2nd of 3 "Creative Haven" coloring books I've purchased (not to mention those 3 are also the first "adult coloring books" I've purchased and tried. My favorite of the 3 was also a "tessellation" pattern book (the 3-D one, you can see my review of that on the product page).Both of the Tessellation Pattern books have a very nice variety of designs. Some being easy/simple designs for the beginner, while still being "complicated" enough that you didn't feel like those easy one's were designed for children. Others being either a medium or more harder complicated designs. None were too hard, either, where you felt you just couldn't do them. The "harder" ones were just more detailed and complex in the pattern(s). Some even had a kind of optical illusion effect to the design (most of those were in the more detailed designs, but not all).The only reason why I would choose the other one as a "favorite" over this one, is just for the 3-D instructions provided. Other that that, I really think the two different Tessellation Patterns, (both from Creative Haven), are of equal value in design, and fun in coloring.

I find the patterns in this book very addictive, once I start on a page I can't stop. The patterns are made from a repeat of shapes, this sounds simple but the drawings are complicated, I would not recommend them for a young child or perhaps someone whose eyesight is not that good. Some shapes are extremely small. I use pencils and my thin tip markers which I prefer.The designs are NOT printed on both sides of the page, there are perforations for easy page removal and have a border all around. I do not like designs which go off the page. I always put a sheet of paper or thin card-stock under the image when I am working on it, however this time when working with markers I forgot and was pleased to see that the ink did not bleed out onto the image underneath.I think that Creative Haven is the best printer for these types of books.Please note I did NOT receive this book book free or at a discount, my review is completely unbiased.

I will use this book to color in I think that's where it's for mainly and I bought it for me it's fun to color even as an adult

I have always loved to color. I find it extremely relaxing and had heard that there were fun adult coloring books that I should look into.I spent a crazy amount of time reading reviews and looking up some of the page designs for a bunch of different books. I came across this one and I have to say, I'm glad I made the decision to get it.I have a few adult coloring books, but this is by far my favorite!! I love how the pictures are only on one side and how great the quality is. The designs are fun and there is a good variety. I find myself spending hours when I can't sleep coloring instead. I am tempted to buy a second one just because I haven't found another book I like as much as I like this one.

I am very pleased with this book! My brother bought me my first adult colouring book and I really to find it very relaxing. It's been a lifesaver in helping pass the time through a long recovery from surgery and complications that have basically put my life on hold. I've always doodled in geometric patterns so this book seemed an obvious choice when I decided to buy more books. There are so many different ones to choose from but I went with a creative haven book based on reviews here on amazon and I was not disappointed! The one sided printing is great and the paper quality is good. FYI...if you use markers (water-based or alchol), or if you use a wet medium (like vasaline or goo gone) it WILL bleed through so protect your next page! Or just gesso the pages before you start to stop it from bleeding through. Have fun! Jo-Lee

I am in love with this coloring book for adults. Creative Haven has knocked another one out of the ball park with this book of intricate and mind boggling designs for the advanced coloring enthusiast. I love to color for relaxation and to just keep the creative thoughts flowing. The artwork by John Wik is defiantly some of the most appealing pattern work I have come across. Dover Publication's has even added an added feature to this book I had not previously realized... the pages are single sided and perforated allowing you to remove them and use just about any medium you would want to in coloring. I look forward to more books published by Dover under the Creative Haven brand and would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting something different.

I've only done 1 picture so far..I just got the book 2 days ago..but I LOVE it..lots of fun patterns!! One sided perforated pages..everything I love in a coloring book!!!

I spend hours coloring these in. Great if you want to keep your hands busy and the pages look amazing and come out of the book super easy.

The book has amazing images that I can't wait to begin to colour!
