This is a book that will take many hours to read and will end up being an outstanding reference work.It is very comprehensive and covers a wide range of topics. A must read for anyone serious about leaning the complexity of coffee and the coffee infrastructure.

Read this book, go to a coffee tasting, and (optional) try roasting your own beans .. All of a sudden, for a few hours time you know more about coffee than 99% of people in the world.You will appreciate coffee more.The collection of experts that contributed to this book provide a balanced perspective and coffee and the coffee industry. Must-read.

This is a good reference book for several aspects of the coffee trade, including the growth cycles of the coffee tree, how the bean is processed, roasted, and marketed, together with case summaries of coffee-producing and coffee-consuming countries. An edited volume, its contirbutors provide expertise in its varied disciplines. I find that in some cases, critical information is missing, hence the rating.

This book is great for the photographs & diagrams, and for the section on all of the coffee exporting countries. The other parts are also well done, but there's not as much in-depth, nitty gritty information for a coffee professional (like you would get from a Scot Rao book). Either way I think it's essential for a coffee lover's library.

I love coffee drink about 4-5 cups daily, so I loved this book very much it covers everything in this world

Very accurate and up to date information. I have successfully tested myself with what I learnt here talking to some people in the industry in several coffee trips and coffee events.

It's a very comprehensive coffee book dealt with from seed to cup as well as environmental and social issues for coffee industry. Especially, about specialty coffee. recommend this book for coffee aficionados.
