Very easy to use and safety assured.
Was very happy with this item. I bought four for my upstairs windows to secure same as I have a 6 year old son and two 4 year old twins.Overall installation was very easy, even for a person with little DIY skills.Very easy to open for an adult in case of an emergency and also very easy to lock back into place. A one way system allows for easy locking but harder two step unlocking process (only if you dont know how to do it).Very happy with purchase. Peace of mind when kids are upstairs without supervision

Does what you need it to do
Plastic throughout so where the screw goes into the window one of ours has broken through the window being opened when on the latch. However we bought one and immediately bought several for around the house and have replaced the broken one with the same product

Easy to install
Arrived quickly. Installed with a power drill and works great. Compliant with local apartment safety regulations (many retailers only sell key-based locks which are not compliant)

Stops children going rogue.
I picked this up because my children are as close to feral as the boy in "A Good Dinosaur". My heating is random, although set to all day, it decides when it will heat the house and when not to. This little device now means I can open the window without fear of my children escaping. It's complicated enough that they can mess around with it and it won't open but easy enough that I'm not afraid to use it.

Wrong type for me
Unfortunately I bought the wrong one and realised it's not suitable for upvc windows.

Finally fresh air without the worry of losing a cat!!
This is absolutely perfect for what we needed it for. With the recent weather we have had, it made me realise how I needed to find a way of letting some fresh air in. (never normally open windows as we have indoor cats)Anyway, hours of research later and I found this!ordered one to give it and try and its exactly what we needed! No more stuffy rooms or fear of the cats falling out the windows 😬So easy to fit and they are fully secure!!Will definitely be coming back for more 😊

Cat lock
Got this for the sole purpose of securing the window so it can be opened without fear of my housecat falling out.Can recommend.Easy to install. Non-intrusive in appearance when fitted.
