Dorman 626-305 Engine Water Pump Inlet Tube Compatible with Select Chrysler / Dodge / Volkswagen Models

I purchased this part because my 2010 Crappy Chrysler Town And Country Touring Plus 3.8-L with only 45,000 miles started leaking coolant at the base of this pipe from corrosion this part I purchased only because it is from a name I am familiar with and trust it is a Great Replacement and a brand name I can trust Dorman is a great brand that for me always exceeds OEM on all vehicles. I have checked several other retailers including Autozone and lots of others and the price ranged from $40.00 or more and then had to pay for shipping. Now this is where Amazon.com come in this is the part that I love so much about Amazon they have competitive pricing and they were the cheapest and free shipping well at least for me it was free shipping because I am a member of Amazon Prime which by the way you should check out a free trial it is great entertainment. OK so back to this Heater Hose Pipe replacement personally I think Chrysler doped the ball they are mixing metals everything is Aluminum this pipe is steel the thermostat and temperature sensor are brass these metals mixed will corrode and compromise the entire cooling system after a while, OK enough of me educating you. This replacement is steel and all the welds are better formed than the OEM it feels heavier than the OEM and just feels better made all around the rubber O ring is a lot better quality as well and the outlet tube is also welded very well it also seems to have a very good layer of primer-paint for protection. What I like to do with things like this that rot away from road salt and stuff is purchase a can of rubber spray like the liner spray and spray this with undercoating it lasts years longer and maybe the life of the vehicle or the part. If you notice a dent in the pipe in my picture yes it is a dent but a purposely made by the manufacturer for an easy fit by the way the OEM also has the same indent. Personally I thing this part should be Aluminum but this is what these mad scientists from Chrysler use so we are all stuck with it. Overall all in all this is a perfect replacement that works better than the OEM.

Replaced the old, rusted pipe on our 2009 Grand Caravan with this item. So far it is working great, with no leaks that I have seen. It went on easy once the inner wheel well plastic was moved out of the way & the 2 bolts that held on the old one were removed. I did put a bit of new motor oil on the rubber o-ring to make it easier to pop the engine block end of the pipe into position. This part was a great price & was shipped with the FAST amazon prime shipping. I don't think I could have done this project any smarter or any cheaper/better!

The Dorman 626-305 Engine Water Pump Inlet Tube was a direct fit for our 2010 Chrysler T&C - touring 3.8L engine.Onlt 2 bolts hold this in place. These bolts are easily accessible and it was a quick change out.

Perfect Fit for a 2009 VW Routan 3.8 liter engine even though the amazon parts finder stated it would not fit my van. I knew from checking other sites this was the correct part for my Routan and it was a perfect match and went right in.

Perfect fit for my 2009 Grand Caravan SE. Remove the splash guard and it is an easy install. Only thing extra I did was sprayed a small amount of silicone on the rubber o-ring to help with the fit. A month on now, I have had no issues. Well made product.
