A great product once you figure out the tricks
This is a great product once you figure out the tricks. I hope you learn from a few of my mistakes. First, watch several installation videos (including those from regular people installing the glass) prior to attempting installation. While the manufacturer's installation video contains some helpful hints that are NOT included in the written instructions, the videos from regular people give a better perspective for the most difficult part (which I'll get to in a moment). Second, watch the positioning of the glue blob. While the manufacturer's video demonstrates glue slowly inching down toward the arrows in a perfectly straight line, that never happened for me in the four attempts necessary for me to successfully install this glass on two phones. Ironically, while it is necessary to keep the glue blob inching downward in a straight line, it is not always the easiest. I found that pressing down on the left hand side of the installation holder was helpful in assisting with that goal. Third, take your time. Patience is required for this installation and particularly with respect to the second point above. Fourth, while the arrows on the case are important, they are only an estimate as to when the glue blob will touch the tempered glass. No matter what you do, DO NOT remove the pin holding up the tempered glass until you see the glue blob start to spread out a bit on the glass. This part is the absolutely most important step. Please note: just because the glue blob is right between the arrows on the installation stand, it does not mean the glue is touching the glass. This was not clear to me from the manufacturer's installation video and how I ended up with an air bubble in the dead center of my phone not once, but twice. If you remove the pin prior to the glue touching the glass, you will likely have one too. Please, please, please, use the arrows as a guide, but do not remove that pin until you see the glue blob start to spread out. Last but not least, please do not forget the step about placing your thumb down on the fingerprint area of your phone prior to the final cure. This is important if you would like a fairly sensitive fingerprint scanner after installing the glass. One last note: despite the instructions in the box, the manufacturer's installation video tells you to cure the top and bottom for two minutes respectively while the written instructions tell you to do so for one minute. Follow the video. I hope these hints help you and save you a bit of money. Bonus hint: Buy the two-pack--it will help you get the hang of the process. Once you get the hang of installation, it really is easy, but it takes a bit of trial, error, and patience. My hope is that my review will prevent you from having to use your warranty to get a replacement. P.S.: The replacement will only include the installation hardware, not another UV light :)

Best adhesion for curved protector but fingerprint won't read
I watched 2 or 3 different installation videos as recommended by Whitestone prior to doing this. This was my first time with this type of protector. Everything went pretty much just like the videos show except for 2 things: As soon as I dropped the protector on to the phone's surface after the adhesive had moved to the center I got 3 BB sized air bubbles right in the middle of the adhesive which I had to chase out, and the fingerprint reader won't read my print.I managed to pretty much "chase" the bubbles out by moving them to the bottom with the straight edge of the little wedge they give you to hold the protector off the phone until it's ready to drop on, but I still ended up with a few pin head sized bubbles trapped permanently. Not really noticeable when the phone is on. I don't know what I'd do differently to avoid this. One video said to reregister your finger print after the first UV light treatment but the other video said nothing. I forgot and didn't try until after the second UV treatment. I've tried 3 times and it won't register my print. But I don't foresee using the reader anyway. I have a second protector in this kit so if I need to I'll peel this one off and try again.Other than these 2 issues it went just as described and it came out great. Now well see how it holds up over time.

Protect Your Investment
So Far.. It's All Good.Yes, the installation takes some concentration but I feel like this day and age we need to slow down a bit and actually use our minds a little! But honestly, it took me 2 tries to apply it correctly. It came with 2 Tempered Glass Protectors and thankfully I didn't have to waste a screen protector either. Reason being is you can reuse it if you make a mistake by carefully removing it and cleaning off the adhesive liquid with the alcohol wipes (included) and a soft cloth or tissue. Just FOLLOW the instructions!Once you do it correctly, you will be pleased with the product. I emphasize AGAIN, Follow the instructions CAREFULLY! And take YOUR TIME! Find a good YouTube Instructional Video of your choice (there are plenty). I recommend watching the video you choose at least 2x FULLY before you even open the box. You do this to familiarize yourself with the installation process. This step will ease your mind greatly...You can't go wrong... They recommend re-scanning your fingerprint after installation. Do this and it will eliminate the whole "fingerprint doesn't work" complaints that everyone is leaving! You will have to press firmly but it is accurate! And sometimes you won't have to press hard. It all depends. But screen protector or not, the s10 gives you the option to scan 4 different prints to your biometrics. DO 2 SCANS FOR EACH THUMB at different angles! (your welcome)Once applied, let your phone rest over night with minimum use. Give the adhesive solution time to cure and dry. This will prevent dust from collecting around the edges. The minimum use is also vital with snapping on a case DIRECTLY after installation of the protector. Depending on the case, if you apply it too early it may lift the Tempered Glass. I went with SPIGEN brand and TRIANIUM brand. I snapped mine on minutes after installation! No problem at all...Once the installation is done, you won't even know your screen has a protector on it. I know I'm impressed and satisfied with the product and it's likely you will be as well.In conclusion, Invest in a great screen protector for such an expensive phone. $7 bucks can't protect $1k, lol! Happy shopping good people!UPDATE: 2 WEEKS LATER! STILL GOOD TO GO! Fingerprint still responsive, screen sensitivity is great, no smudging, no scratches, no problems!@the1sentwali

It's not indestructible but it's still a good Screen Protector
It's complicated to install but easy enough if you follow the instructions. I've installed two now after my first one chipped somehow. It seems to scratch quite easily considering how expensive it is I was disappointed. It's easy enough to remove though. I've not had any problems with the fingerprint sensor which is the reason I bought this specific screen protector in the first place. So overall I'll give it a 4 star rating. Would've been 5 if it was either cheaper or stronger or both.

I was able to install it, but it took me two tries.
First time, I pulled the little plastic thing holding up the screen protector slightly too early, so the adhesive hadn't touched the upper glass yet. I was so focused on doing it as soon as it passed the mid line that I didn't make sure it was touching the protector itself. Had to clean it up, and put it on again. The box isn't sealed at all, which is concerning. I bought the one that has the replacement already included, and it only had 3 adhesives (I would expect 4) and only one set of the dust stickers, and wet naps. Was it everything supposed to be doubled? I now have no wet naps for the second screen I bought, and only one tube of adhesive. So, perhaps a warning, if you're buying the option of having two screens, you don't get any failure rate the second time? Unless I was missing adhesive etc, in which case, could I be sent some? For the fingerprint sensor: After the first quick cure, you are supposed to press hard on the finger print sensor for a minute, and then do the full cure. This is NOT mentioned in the included instructions!I did that, and then the sensor still didn't work very well. I was super sad. However, after a few hours had passed, it started to work much better!

Good Protection, weird with cases.
I found the installation process easy to follow and it worked well. Remember and hold down with your thumb where the finger print scanner is for a minute to help the process. I had a case which is tried to use alongside this but it was to tight and the buttons weren't working so I then ordered a poetic case which i read that it was compatible with, this case was really tight and began lifting my screen protector and actually cracked it at the bottom so that got returned. I feel they should carry out tests like this and create a list of adequate cases because most people also want a case, I am currently waiting on a otterbox commuter being delivered which I hope works but unsure, this is a bit of mark down from me. The fingerprint scanner isn't consistent but it does work, this along with facial recognition works okay, all in all I would recommend but do your research and watch with cases because it is expensive.

Take your time installing and all should be good!
The media could not be loaded. I looked all over doing research on screen protectors, and about 80% of places recommended this one. The one problem I did find with those reviews was how it works with a case. I used to just grab an Otterbox Defender and not worry about it, but with in screen fingerprint sensors that isn't really an option anymore. FYI I grabbed a Spigen Slim Armor CS and it works flawless. You can feel a tiny seam at the top and bottom, but I can't even stick my fingernail between the sides!Installation takes time, and you definitely don't want to rush it. I took me around 15 minutes from start to finish, but I was being extremely anal about every step! I also had the video guide from my favourite YouTube tech guy Flossy Carter playing step by step. Reading the provided instructions is fine, but the reassurance of seeing eac step just before you do it is quite comforting!I've read a lot of reviews saying the fingerprint sensor doesn't work for them. In my experience it works damned near flawlessly. I don't even have to press hard on it, and it registers 99 times out of 100....I was bored in isolation so I actually did that test.Since applying the cover I have only dropped my phone once, but it was on a tile floor. Landed on the side of my case and screen, and no damage to either. All in all I'm happy with my purchase.
