AziPro Aluminum Tesla Model S & Model 3 Key Fob Cover, Blue

The product arrived with no instructions. They were nice enough to send Tesla tire valve covers along with the frame for the key. The packaging not only included a separate bag for the tire valve covers, it had a separate bag for foam and three screws and another with a strap and three more screws and another strap (not in plastic) and a screwdriver.Despite the no instructions it was easy to assemble. They placed one screw (of four) in the key cover (which kept it together and clued the user in that the other three were needed and where. The foam in the one 3 screw bag was easy to figure out too. There is a bit of space when the key cover is screwed closed. The foam is cut into 4 (5mm x 2mm) pieces. It is obvious where to put them on the key cover too. I guess someone could put them on the key, but I put them on the cover in places which would not be seen when closed (in four corners).Once screwed together (with locking substance on screw to prevent vibration loosening) you put the strap in. That is self explanatory too to put together as is the strap with the other screws that I didn't need because I chose the shorter strap with one larger screw already half in place.I would have given 5 stars but for the lack of instructions. I hope this helps someone putting this together.

Had my Model X for over 3 years now and honestly rarely need to take the fob out of my pocket. Early on got a silicone cover for the fob to keep it from getting scratched from being in my pocket with my keys. Problem was I would go out to my garage and a door wood be open from accidentally depressing a button in my pocket. This hard aluminum case provides raised edges to make it more difficult for that to happen. All buttons are easily accessed and the fob continues to work fine with the case on. And it makes my X fob look as cool and beautiful as my Model X. I normally just leave it in my pocket but it looks so good now, I may start pulling it out of my pocket more.Update: AziPro just messaged me with an image of the instructions on what to do with the little white pads. I had already figured they were to be placed in the bottom of the case tray to cushion the fob from the metal of the case and provide a snug fit. But I only used 2 pads, at either end. Seems to work just as well. I replied to them saying it should have been in the box so people would know what to do right away.

This cover helps protect the key fob and the key fob now looks even cooler than it already is. The strap makes it easy to attach a key ring. I have a USB drive attached to it. I use 2 of the included foam tapes to make sure the key fob doesn't move around inside the cover. One bad thing is that it will reduce the detection range. Without the key cover and with the key in my pocket, my car will auto presence the door handle as soon as I pass the front of the car. Now it usually takes me standing right in front of the door before it will do that. Same goes for using the buttons on the key fob, you have to be much closer now to unlock or open the trunk. Minor annoyance but still like it.

l loved these when I got them - initially one blue and one pink. However, due to the way it is made and put together, when you screw on the back to close, it closes the front section, but no screws there. The screws seems to come loose easily, opening the case. I LOST MY KEYFOB TWICE in the last year due to this opening - luckily, the first time it fell out in my car. The second time, it fell out from the case at my job - luckily I found it in my workspace shortly after realizing my keychain was empty with no FOB inside - I was hysterical for half an hour as I searched. You will definitely need more screws and check them regularly. My hubby can no longer wear his clipped to his belt loop - but be in his pocket; and I can not wear mine attached to the outside of my small purse, so I have to use my medium purse, and it must be on the INSIDE of the purse, as you never know when the screws will fall apart - just this last week, i went to pull my keychain out to open the car, and the fob had fallen out of the holder (luckily it fell to the bottom of my purse).

Okay, yeah, for $20 this thing ain't cheap, but neither is the Tesla key. I (stupidly) put the key on the roof when I park in the garage and I left the house with the key on the roof (apparently the car thought it was inside.)Well, the key departed the vehicle at the fourth corner and someone found it a few days later. The metal keys on the ring were bent beyond use. My office RFID fob was shattered and destroyed. The Tile (that helped me find it) is, oddly, completely unscathed. The Tesla key cover is effectively destroyed, but the key under it is unscathed.This thing is fantastic!!! I hate to think how much a new Tesla key would cost!!

This is well made. It is a bit pricier, but looks way better than those silicone covers that completely mask how sleek the Model 3 key fob is. The item comes with 2 lanyards, i went with the brown one. I installed the key fob as is and it ended up kind of rattling inside the metal case. The box comes with these small white spacers, I would suggest using them on one side of the case so that your fob doesn't rattle and get scratched.

A must have for any Tesla key fob! I was blown away at the sturdiness of this jewel. I didn’t expect that much from it but boy oh boy is this thing nice. The real metal casing combined with the supplied rubber pads help secure the key fob nicely.Once fitted around your key fob this case makes your key go from flimsy and light to fit, fab and....sturdy?? Yes this case adds a nice solid sturdy feel to the key, almost like Audi key fobs have but without the added weight.Just be sure to use the supplied foam bumper pads to go around the inside of the case before securing it around your fob to make the fob rattle free and scratch resistant. I believe if you weren’t to use the the foam pads your fob would get scratched up with use.
