All this in typical DK Knowledge book style with plenty of side boxes and notes and full page custom diagrams and pictorials.

So much detail and excellent pictorials and diagrams
This has some really good details of a lot of history of civilizations. Anti-evolutionists will have to bite their tongue and try to get past some of the very early pages, but if they can, it is worth it to see the presentation of how a lot of human history and civilizations progressed across the map. Love this history book!
This is a great book for families that homeschool or just want to add more educational books into their library. My 11 year old son loves all things history, and this one is great for that!! Highly recommend this book and any others by this publication.

The book is good, its good for kids, but the book itself is broken on edge, I think supplier is bad and doesn't know how to keep these books, All books from this publisher are broken. I'd avoid it for now

Good book for children

I can not recommend these books enough. I have purchased quite a few of these as presents for my granddaughter. Each one is quite heavy and has loads of glossy pages and pictures. They do seem a little too old for her but shes quite clever. They will last her a good number of years plus will help her with school projects/learning. They are highly recommend by me.
