Comparing three Santa suits
OK, I've personally ordered, received, tried on and previewed three of the more expensive Santa suits available here on Amazon, this one and two others. They are:1. Fun World Costumes Men's Plus-Size Plus Size Adult Oldtime Santa... Hooded Robe Set, Red/White, X-Large2. Sunnywood Men's Supreme Santa Claus Suit, Burgandy/White, Large3. Majestic Santa Suit Mens Christmas Xmas Holiday Outfit Costume(42-48)First, a word about sizing. I'm 6'3" and 210 lbs - long legs, med/short torso. I wear 38w40l Levi 501's, 16/36 shirts and 43 or 44 long suits, depending on fit. I tried all suits on with a belly pad added (Santa Claus Suit Belly Stuffer (Red) Adult Costume Accessory). They all fit me with the pad in the sizes listed. The legs are all long enough for me with the possible exception of the Oldtime suit but even its legs "could" work OK for me. The Oldtime suit's sleeves may have been a bit long for me, they were definitely the biggest in circumference.Unless you are hirsutely gifted, you have to order a wig and beard. I bought the Halco # 60 Beard Set. It's perfect. Except it's bristly, itchy and HOT. But, I see no way around this.Next, these are all well made, lined and heavy suits. The coats zip together. The pants have elastic waists. They are HOT. Combined with the wig and beard, each outfit is uncomfortably, sweaty HOT when moving around in 70 degree temperatures. I dread the thought of sitting under lights for photos. Dancing is out of the question. Each suit in turn:1. The Oldtime suit is as depicted in its photo, almost a wizard look and, for lack of a better term, more "elegant" than the other two which are traditional suits. The belt is embroidered and superficially beautiful, a nice touch. Its pants are the thinnest of the three and, other things being equal, that thinness is a good thing because these are HOT suits. I liked the style of this suit the best overall and even though it's not quite equal in quality to the best quality suit (see #3) I would have chosen it EXCEPT for the boot covers. They are deal killers. Cheap. Not a match for any boots I'm aware of. If you want to throw away the boot covers and spend the time to rig up some substitute matching boots with fur, etc... this suit can be a good, out-of-the-ordinary and potentially show stopping option. I tried it with just black boots, didn't like the look, and didn't want to spend the hours necessary to develop a top-notch boot solution, so I sent the suit back.2. The Supreme suit is very nice. Well made, with thickly padded and lined jacket and pants. I think I mentioned that all of these are HOT. The boot covers are adequate. The pants tuck into the boot covers. It's a super traditional Santa suit. But, I sent it back.3. Which brings me to the Majestic. It is.In my opinion it's constructed of better, richer materials than either of the other two suits. The fur is thicker, the fabric plusher and more stout. The proportions, jacket vs pants are just as they should be. The boot covers more closely blend into the black boots worn under them so as to be not noticeable at first glance. Interestingly, the pants rest on top of the boot covers, rather than tucking in. I thought this would be a problem, but in practice it's not. The belt is flexible leather-look plastic but the buckle is an ostentatious, thick, polished brass waist monument; a perfect buckle for Santa. Really, when I look into the mirror with this suit on, Santa looks back. I kept it.Finally, a caution. The first two suits were Amazon supplied and thus returnable for any reason and at no cost. The Majestic was not supplied by Amazon. I checked the return policy for the Majestic seller (Planetcostume) prior to purchase and saw that its returns policy comported with Amazon's policy - i.e., OK. On second glance, however, buried at the end of the seller's info, out of context, lonely and inconspicuous is the statement that seasonal items can not be returned. Other sellers may differ and this seller's policy may have changed by now. The point is to check the particular seller's return policy carefully. And, they're HOT.

Beautiful! This is the suit is you want the very best.
The suit is THICK! Nice and soft. It compels the little ones to snuggle with Santa. Beware it is warm too.

I think you would be hard-pressed to find a suit better than this one
Absolutely incredible, real deal, mall quality Santa suit. I think you would be hard-pressed to find a suit better than this one. The material is thick and of high quality, though the belt could be a little stronger. Note that the pants do not have the white at the bottom as shown in the picture. Those are attached to the shoes which are sold separately. Otherwise, an unbelievably good suit. Highly highly recommended!

Very Nice Suit
It was all that I expected. The dimensions are correct and the quality is fantastic. I would recommend this suit. Its my first one, so I can't compare it to anything. I have only tried it on so far, the real test is in two weeks with the children. But its quite an impressive suit - nothing looks cheap about it.

Ho Ho AWESOME
This is a WONDERFUL santa costume. Truly it is the one from the movies! Everything came as expected. Only issue was on the boot topper the fur was disconnecting from the boot. But other than that very high quality!

Great suit, nicely lined - this came with jacket
Great suit, nicely lined - this came with jacket, pants, belt, boot covers, hat and gloves. Had to purchase wig and beard seperatly. I would recommend some suspenders for the pants as they are too heavy to be held up with just the elastic waist band.

My second halco suit...
It's a very nice, plush suit. The dry cleaners screwed up the last one. Be careful who you get to clean these suits.
