Excellent Basic Gig Bag
A lot of guitar and bass manufacturers are no longer including hard cases or gig bags, in an effort to cut costs. This Gator gig bag is a surprisingly good value, and I was impressed with the fit and finish. It doesn't offer a whole lot of padding, but it's certainly a better gig bag than I have seen included with many budget instruments (those that still include a bag at all). one thing I would mention though to anyone with a long-scale neck on a standard bass, is that this is a really tight fit for a Fender P-Bass, for example.

Thick enough to protect my bass
I had a Fender bag that came with the Squire bass I bought recently. It has no padding. This bag has plenty and fits the bass well. It feels like it is well made. I should get years of service from this gig bag!

Does what it is supposed to do.
It performs its function. The padding is a little thin but you get what you pay for. It seems sturdy enough to not fall apart, but I wouldn't consider it heavy-duty for protective enough to trust your guitar in it if you accidentally drop it.

Worth the money
I got it to easily transport bass to and from church, works perfectly. It fits both my Ibanez and Fender. The Fender does fit a little tighter and I’m probably going to get a little bit bigger one for it. But this one is wry sturdy and great for the price.

I am amazed at the quality for the price.
I'm 61 years old and physically disabled. I have a vintage Rickenbacker Bass, that is quite valuable, that I use to jam with longtime fellow musicians. The Bass is well protected in it's hard shell case but I use a powered wheelchair and am not comfortably able to handle the size and weight and I have to rely on others to help me. I thought maybe a gig bag would allow me the ability to easily haul my bass without help but was concerned it wouldn't protect my valuable Bass. Plus I really didn't want to invest a lot of money into a bag. I bought the Gator because of the reasonable price and to my amazement it offered adequate protection for my Bass and I can now haul it by myself and don't need to rely on others. A great product at a great price and I highly recommend it.

Adequate "gig" bag for the non-gigging bassist
You get what you pay for. More protection than a pillow case or potato sack, but not something you want to depend on to protect your instrument through the rigors of gigging. If you need protection from minor bumps and scratches transporting your instrument to and from weekly music lessons and are careful taking it in and out of your vehicle, this should be adequate.Having said all that, if you've plopped down $600+ for a guitar the Fender FB620 is well worth the extra $30 in my opinion.

Perfectly functional gig bag for the price.
It works, for the price, for what it is. I needed a gig bag, at about 25 dollars in a hurry, for carrying my carry around bass around town- in/ out car, hanging out at coffee shops, walking around place to place. If I had about 50 dollars I would have bought the next model up, the G4 or whatever, with more padding, but I didn't, and this one is doing the job just fine. I have a Precision Bass copy (an Epiphone Accu-Bass, hence the weird headstock) , and it fits in the bag. The bag is protective enough and seems durable enough for the purpose of carrying the bass around town. The pocket won't hold much- just strings and some music, but the bag does carry the bass.

Fit my bass.
Perfect for what I need waiting on a new guitar and will order another.
