Raypak 006723F Connector Union Set PVC 2in

I bought these unions a little over a year ago. For the past half a year I've been dealing with leaks. I finally pulled the union (hot side) completely off to look at it. The cheap clear rubber flange was crushed and deformed. It had expanded in some spots and shrunk in others. This was certainly cause for the leak; this material can't deal with high temperatures is my guess. These are not original Raypak parts, these are after market parts with a completely different seal design than OEM. The original parts come with a black O ring. I recommend sticking to that version - it only costs twice as much.

Re-plumbing my pump house, putting in ball valves to be able to by pass heater when not needing the heat saving wear and tear on the copper pipes. These pc's I needed to connect to my heater came 5 days earlier then was expecting, really appreciated that a lot. Fit perfectly!!!!

Figment was great. These have a flat soft washer to seal out leaks. So much better than cheap orings.
