The rocker/recliner is quite soft to the touch, and very comfortable. The softness seems to make it comforting and cozy, so it's gotten a real work-out over the past 5+ months, with my adult son rocking in it many times per day to relieve his anxiety. Even with the vigorous, more-than-typical use, the chair shows no sign of wearing down in the seat, back, arms or rocking mechanism. Very pleased with this purchase. I purchased the extended 3-year warranty, but, at this time, I don't believe that I will need to use it.It's delivered with the top separate from the base. Assembly was rather easy, although because I'm small (and a light-weight), it took 2 of us to line up the top with the bottom.

Instructions said to push the back dow until you hear a click. That didn’t happen. But I was able to push the locking lever down so I “guess” it’s okay. Have had the chairs for about a week and they’re really comfortable. My only gripe is when I sit straight up my feet cannot touch the floor. I am a 5’5” female. My husband has no problem other than he is a large man and liked his “old man recliner” best. These look good. They’re not huge, not tiny - they’re medium.

This is the most comfortable chair I've sat in and I've tried a lot of them. After owning multiple reclining, none reclining sofas that failed, I needed a comfortable chair for my consistent lower back pain. I have a 16 year old Lane in our motorhome that I love and is almost identical to this one so when I found this on Amazon I had to have it.My wife sat in it for a awhile and ordered one for herself.The chair has great lumbar support and it maintains it in all relining positions. The long reclining handle make it easy to recline and easy to retract. The leather is soft, and it is real leather, all you have to do is open the top pillow zipper and you can see the real suede on the back side of the full grain leather. It is not bonded leather.Thank you Lane and Amazon for making and delivering a great chair.

It IS NOT a very large recliner as stated. Will NOT be large enough for someone 6' . Disappointed with description and size. After having for 1 yr is VERY uncomfortable, VERY POOR support! Have always loved Lane furniture. This is very disappointing! Have had Lane recliners last for 8-10yrs, this one is HORRIBLE!

I love the feel and the seating of this recliner. I bought a La-Z-Boy earlier this year, fabric, and I hate it. I gave a dislike to the delivery because they dropped it off at the back of my house, actually in the driveway in front of the garage door. Which is not my back porch. The front of the house would have been much better since we had to unbox the chair and carry it into the house. The box was way too heavy to move. Thank heavens it comes in two parts which is easy to assemble. Other than that, I love this recliner.

We bought two of these Lane Recliners. Easy to assemble out of the box. Took the first one out, put it together and slid it where we wanted it only to find one of the rubber pads protecting the feet was missing and it scratched our hardwood floor. This one also had a torn arm with fabric coming out.The second one was great, very comfortable and looked good in our room. However, the chair didn't make it through the weekend. We got them on Friday and by the second football game on Sunday it was broken. It only reclines all the way back and will not stay in any other position, THEN when I get out of the chair it make a loud bang like a spring broke. The rocker stops when it goes back like it's up against a wall.. but it's in the middle of the room. No fat jokes here... I only weigh 180 pounds. This chair is useless.We requested a return and full refund on Oct 6th and have yet to get a response and of course there is a Nov 9th deadline to return it.

I bought one of these Lane Recliners and liked it so much I bought another. Frankly, these more than met my expectations and were at least $200 cheaper (each) than I could find in a furniture store. Of course buying online you always take a chance. Who knows if it will be comfortable or if it looks as good as the picture. But I can tell you these are super COMFORTABLE and the leather is superb. I highly recommend these chairs.I did get one delivered in a totally destroyed box however, but as usual Amazon to the rescue. They sent UPS to pick up the box and they replaced the chair. This of course is why I shop at Amazon.

I ordered a brown chair and received a grey one. They chair is lopsided and very uncomfortable. Even with the back installed properly it will come right back off if you lift the chair to move it.
