I bought this hat as it was different than most Air Force veteran hats and it looked good. I liked the fact that it is marked "VETERAN" and not "Retired" as I was not career military. Proudly I served (USAFSS) just one term at 3yrs, 8mos, and 10 dys (but who was counting back in late 60s and early 70s......)Further, I'm not one to wear veteran "garb" daily like some. My time was 50 yrs ago, and it has only been in the last 5 yrs that I've "come around" to openly acknowledge my service. This hat by itself serves me well on Veterans Day when I join my veteran buddies to commemorate those we served with. As well as those who didn't make it or no longer with us.Bottom line: this is a good hat. Buy it! Wear it proudly. There will be no regrets.

This hat arrived today on Friday and it was not supposed to be here until next Thursday. Super good service. Looks pretty nice. It fits comfortably with the adjustment holes all filled. In other words, this could really expand out if needed. If you don't have much hair (like me) it fits just as it is. I gave the front top a "crush" so it doesn't stick up so high to make it look cooler. I would recommend this hat, it looks sharp and maybe will help me feel better about my time in the AF over 50 years ago. Back then, we didn't talk about it.

The photo shows the 13 stars that don't look complete. The hat was fine. Everything intact. I may purchase another as back-up.

Gave this to my dad as a birthday gift and he loves it! He is proud of his service to the country and needed this to display his accomplishments.

The hat arrived on time and the price is a good value. The sewing/embroidery of the letters and insignia is very good quality. Nice hat.
