Arlo Pro Wire-Free HD Camera Security System (2-Camera Kit)

I’m giving a 2 star for tech support only because I haven’t yet needed to deal with them. As for the 3 star on battery life is only because you will have to change (charge) the batteries after 4-6 days I bought 2 extra batteries for this Purpose as I want my security cameras always rolling & looking out for me, over my home. But I definitely am overall satisfied with my purchase. One last note is that the camera’s lag about a few seconds & it seems tech does a lot of updates from the Arlo notifications but nothing to worry about just me adding this incase you needed/wanted to know...

These cameras are great. I bought these after a crazy roommate situation and it definitely gives me a piece of mind. They may not be perfect, but it beats having to pay a fee for a service based security camera.Some pros and cons:PROS:-Motion detector is very sensitive and picks everything up-Picture is clear-Audio works great-App is very convenient and easy to monitor from- Free 7 day cloud service to hold video clips-Easy set upCONS:-15 second lag. While this doesn’t seem significant, it is. 15 seconds is the difference between seeing someone break in your door and not.- 2 way audio does not work if you are not near the router.-Low battery life. I’ve had the cameras up for a week and the front door camera is less than 50%

Extremely satisfied, they not only work great but I can share with my family to monitor from their phones as well. I just ordered more cameras for the sides of the house looking forward to this.

The batteries are supposed to last for months. Got three cameras, ensured all were fully charged before I installed them. One is at 75%, one is at 50%, one shut off today. I’ve had them up for a little over a month. All are outside, in the front of my house (so same conditions).When I went to charge the batteries, the spring loaded part fell out. Again. It is nearly impossible to reset (because the spring Is loose and falls off), for me or my mechanically inclined daughter with smaller fingers. So basically, I can charge two at a time. Didn’t think this would be a big deal except that I’ll apparently need to be doing it once a month.... I had to order a new charger.Equally challenging is the fact that their range of detection differs - one will record motion from the street - after the object has passed my house, one - about a foot and a half closer to the street - will only record it once it’s within about ten feet of the camera. There does not appear to be a way to adjust this. Meaning - someone will be at my front door when it starts recording, even though they walked up from my driveway. I wish there was a grid that said - this is what you can see on the camera, but THIS is what it will record.I love the simplicity of installation, but there is a good 20 second lag between when I open the app and on when I can actually watch a live feed (and that’s home or away). I’ve read reviews on the app and people are upset about the difference from the initial app and this new update.

Easy setup of camera’s to base station. Will buy additional cameras to cover more outdoor areas

Just installed a couple weeks ago. They seem pretty reliable. and battery life seems really good so far. Only thing I don't like it the Geofence is slow to react. I pull in the parking lot, and it sends me a notice of motion detected. then 30 seconds later changes mode that I'm home. but not a huge deal, just a little annoying.

This is a great security camera system! Easy to install, lots of programming options for the cameras, including specific days/times to monitor, adjusting sensitivity, and quality of video recording. Only negative is that because it is completely wireless, battery life may be a problem. If you want a system for a high-traffic areas or one that continuously records, battery life will be short. But, because it is wireless, installation is a breeze! I've used about 8% of battery life in a week.

Pros: good for what I need it for. Around the house .Cons: the speaker on the cramra is not loud enough.
