Magnum Target 4" x 3/8" AR500 Steel Shooting Range Targets Dueling Trees Metal Paddles w/Tubes

Bought these to complete a dueling tree that I am making as a final project for my hobby welding class. They arrived quickly, which I was worried about because I waited way to long and was worried I was going to have to present an unfinished project. These were way cheaper than I could of purchased from the local steel shop. Each target was exactly the same size and weight. They pivoted nicely in the tubes when given a good smack with a hammer. The tubes were thick enough that that welded solid to the stand without blowing through. I would recommend this produce for your home project. I will likely order different sizes for varying calibers.

Great product to help save some $

The metal began to dimple when I shot it with a 270 win. using a 130 grain interlock bullet at 100 yards. When it was shot with an all copper 130 grain bullet at the same distance there was no damage.

1/4in angle iron and you good to go.

Nice kit. Makes it easy to build a dueling tree at a fraction of the cost it would be to buy one. The only negative I noticed is that on 1 of the 6 targets the round part was 1/4 in larger than the rest

Set up a small range, out to 75 yards and put 30-30, .223, 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 downrange at these targets. They took every hit and did not even dimple. Very solid, will buy again when needed to replace or expand my range targets.

Targets are great. Tubes were not DOM so I clean the inside seam weld with a file. Excellent kit for the price. You will have to figure out the spacing and angle but there are lots of pictures on the internet to get ideas from.

Horizontal stem is too short.Played with the vertical "lean" angle several times trying to get them to work properly before buying a different set that has a longer horizontal stem and work as they should.I found a use for them as I fabricated a dangling horizontal .22plate rack.
