I am a bedding obsessed. I think it is because I have insomnia and believe that if we are comfortable when we sleep, it will help. I own too many pillows. I have three bedrooms so I am able to spread them out. For years I was set on a contour memory foam pillow. However, my head was getting hot at night and I was not able to sleep. It never hurt my neck, but the heat was too much for me.I then started taking pillows for the other rooms and nothing felt right. Too big, too firm, not enough neck support. I was frustrated and was waking up with the worse neck pain. I was ready to go back to my memory foam pillow and just be warm.I am leery about buying pillows online because you can’t feel them. I had planned to shop locally but became ill. I really could have used the pillows then. I planned on buying two for my bed. I ended up spending hours one night looking for a pillow that would benefit my side and stomach sleeping. My six year old also sleeps with my sometimes. I opted to get the queen size ones since the price was not that big of a difference. I always buy pillow protectors because I am a germ freak and honestly, I drool along with my daughter, nothing you want people to know but it helps protect the pillow.I received these and placed them in the protector, then the pillow cases I have. They look great. They did not feel (in my hands) like they would offer support. The first night I slept on them, I slept so well! I did not wake up and when I did, I slept so well and my neck did not hurt the next day.These pillows do not cost much and if you are a side/stomach sleeper, these might be for you. I am so glad I picked them up.

This is my fourth purchase of these exact pillows. They are fantastic pillows. Honestly, you could burn hundreds of dollars at Target, Walmart, etc. snf never find these kind of high quality pillows. They last about 3 years and then need to be replaced to freshen things up. They are fabulous in every respect and worth every penny. Better than any hotel pillows you might find. I travel a lot and have actually shipped myself pillows via Amazon to the hotel's front desk if I am going to be staying for 4-5 days. It's worth it to get a good night's sleep. I am a side sleeper who uses a pillow between my knees as well. These work great for that configuration. Buy them and you won't regret.

First of all, I purchased both the extra firm and standard density of this same brand of pillow. All pillows are of superior quality. However, I would say the standard density really is firm, and the extra firm is "extra extra" firm. The exterior of the pillow is nice, soft, and of excellent quality. All pillows have nice, dense filling, without being too hard. However, the thickness is a bit of a problem for me for the extra firm, and I like my pillows to be very firm. If you like a firm pillow, but don't want to risk having a sore neck from the pillow being too thick, I would just go with the firm or even the standard instead of the extra firm. I bought the standard density for my kids, and even those are quite thick and too big for their little heads (but perfect for me). I think the extra firm is too thick for smaller people (I'm 5'3"), but for larger people like my husband (who is 5'11"), works well.

Finally found a pillow that really is firm enough and still comfortable. Had to return the first ones that came though... wrong pillows in correctly labeled packaging so likely not Amazon's fault but the manufacturers. They were so soft and flimsy it was like using a handkerchief for a pillow. Amazon's customer service was outstanding... they immediately shipped out a replacement order and then made the arrangements for picking up the return. The replacement shipment had the right pillows and they are exactly what I've been looking for. I'll update this later to report on how well they stand up, but for now they look/feel very promising.

They are comfortable but the stitching comes apart in the first few weeks.

I am a very picky, borderline OCD, with my pillow chjoices and have been all my life - well, when i was sick for a week and would end up getting sick in my sleep and thus ruining my sheets and my pillows I needed to just quickly order replacements --> AND MAN OH MAN WAS THIS A SURPRISE WHEN THEY CAME! I got 2 of each "firmness" levels (6 pillows total) and i have never slept better in my life. These are tight yet plush; firm yet soft and cradling; and it seems to have something about it that when you put those aspects together, there is LITERALLY no way that your neck can hurt. This is the PERFECT PILLOW. And i totally got it while in a FEVERISH HAZE . . . BEST. PURCHASE. DURING A 102 degree fever in my LIFE!

At one time, when the Perfect Fit company actually made this pillow, it was a good, extra-firm pillow. A couple years ago, they started farming out production to a 3rd party and the pillows haven't been the same since. I keep buying them because I am desperate for a high-loft, extra-firm pillow. The last one I bought at the beginning of May 2015 went flat in 4 days, the worst yet. If you want a luxurious, medium soft pillow, buy this. If you want extra-firm, good luck. I haven't found one yet. I just ordered a Ralph Lauren, and we'll see how that goes.... Addendum 5/28. The Ralph Lauren's, though listed as extra-firm, were more like a medium, so the Perfect Fit is still the best I've found so far. Alas! Addendum 9/21/15. I took a chance an ordered another Perfect Fit pillow, and this time it seems to be good. If you want a thick, extra-firm pillow, this is probably the best you are going to find. Addendum 2/17/16. I just ordered two new pillows. FLAT. FLAT. FLAT. If a flat pillow is what you want, this is the one. If you want an extra-firm high-loft pillow like they used to make, don't waste your time. I sent mine back immediately for a refund.

Firmes y muy comodas, sevicio impecable, todo bien.

These seem to the best ones I have found for me. A bit too soft for a pillow that's labelled extra firm. I'm a side sleeper and so is my brother we still need to stack 2 to get some meat. Which is still twice less than other brands. PS: I would rate them firm at best, extra firm shouldn't have any give.

En general muy buena experiencia. Duermo de lado y con estas almohadas puedo dormir sin problema. He visto mejores opciones con un poco más de relleno, por eso no le doy 5 estrellas. Pero bastante bien. Las volvería a comprar.

I ordered these in king size, extra firm. They arrived in a day and a half and are very nice pillows. They're heavy. The stuffing is actually firm, almost like a cushion- most inexpensive pillows labelled "firm" are actually very soft. The stuffing is smooth but not perfectly evenly distributed- one-third of one of them is a bit thinner than the rest. The stitching is strong and the fabric is thick. The side wall is pale lavender and had a diamond stitching pattern. They have no smell at all; if they've been treated with a preservative, I can't smell it. They'll fit beautifully into my king-size pillow shams. I paid only $33 for two of them and I'm very happy with my purchase!

Really not very dense. I bought the firm density and it was just about what you expect from an average pillow. They came in a huge box, so it would be difficult for me to return for something a bit firmer. I recommend getting extra firm if you want something with a bit of density. They are good quality, just way softer than I expected.
