AT one time gRETSCH was a great guitar,no longer.
To start with, the nut was never finished. It had large points on both top edges as if it had never been filed or sanded. Cause to get a good cut The asctethics were fine. The guitar looked very nice. I did not care for the sound at all. I have been a professional musician for 50 years, and have played and owned at least 3 dozen guitars, and this was among the worst. Maybe not the very worst, but top 4 or 5. Quality control has gone down the drain.I played an old Gretsch a few weeks ago and it was as I remember them being. No more Gretsch guitars.

defective
Ive received a defective Gretsch Streamliner Center Block Jr. from a seller named Adorama. Bridge pick up is not working as it should. Compared to the neck pick up volume is not audible. Pick up height seemed to be fine to me. But its not how a guitar should sound like with a factory OK card. Its a cool looking guitar, it was upsetting to put it down after a second of realizing the problem. I contacted Gretsch and the seller, had no response. I wanted to buy a brand new clean guitar because I didnt want to go to a repair shop if something happened with a 2nd hand purchase. It was my first and last time buying a guitar off Amazon, neither the seller or Amazon been helpful. I rather stick to Reverb now and interact with actual players and individuals.

Love it
This is the guitar I bought to replace the piece of crap I bought few months ago, it's perfect for the price I paid, didn't want the best guitar available cause i don't have 1500$ for that but also didn't want to cheap out and get another piece of trash, I just love it, and the country look is really awesome, no defect at all, everything works fine with the electronics, and if you're wondering like I did, the second strap stud is on the back of the guitar, normal straps do just fine.Maybe the touch on the frets is a bit not perfect, but at this point it's the only flaw I can point and the touch is still very good, I've just seen better on more expensive instruments. And it's very light, I know it's hollow but still was expecting a bit more weight with the hardware and all but no, really light, fun to play as well.
