I was a little intimidated when I first started reading the book. I fell asleep a couple times, then it all clicked and started falling into place. It is the designated text for a class I’m taking, otherwise I would have put on a shelf when I started falling asleep. The writer does tell you on page 14, “These volumes are primarily intended to serve as textbooks for graduate-level exegesis courses that assume a basic knowledge of Hebrew.”

Futato has developed a simple, straightforward, and thorough textbook for deailng with the Psalms as a pastor or Bible interpreter. It is rather breif and concise, so it intentionally doesn't exhaust the topic, but what it does say is especially helpful for any pastor, bible student, or layperson who would like to explore the Psalms.

Just took a little while to arrive, was like 6 days. No problem as I had time to wait.

This is an excellent book. I am very much enjoying reading it. It has great overviews of the major themes of the Psalms and its structures. It also has excellent sections on preaching the psalms.I also highly recommend Mr Futato's Daily Dose of Hebrew

Great to have some Hebrew in it but intelligible.
