I have some toe nails that are thick from damage years ago and this clipper works great. It has a wide opening and is very sharp. It comes in a can with a soft bag. Not sure why the can but I guess it must be a marketing idea. The bag to contain the clippers and the nail file is a nice touch.

Good quality, but be very careful when using. If possible, wear hand protection when trimming toe nails. I bought this nail clipper to help trim one of my toenails that is thicker than the rest. This clipper trims the toenail significantly faster and with less struggle than regular clippers. However, be very careful because this clipper is sharp. The closing mechanism is different as well, it’s hard to explain but the clipper closes by itself. I wasn’t paying as much attention as I should, and cut my hand while using.

You have to click the metal piece into place and then twist it back in order to close the clipper. For someone younger with good hand strength and dexterity, this probably isn’t a big deal. But for my father, who is elderly, that extra step makes it difficult for him to operate independently. One thing I really like is the packaging. It comes in a sleek 3D cylinder case that holds the clippers and the included nail file. It keeps everything organized and actually looks very nice — it would make a thoughtful gift. Overall, these are powerful, good value for the money, high-quality clippers — just keep in mind that the locking design may not be ideal for seniors who have limited hand strength or mobility.

These clippers work great! I have a toe that was injured and nail grew back very thick. No other clippers worked but these did the trick!

The first thing I did after receiving and using these clippers was to throw all my old clippers into the recycling bin. They are that good it was just not worth using anything else. They also come with a nice storage pouch and in a metal canister. Not really needed, but a nice touch. In closing if you're tired of using old style wimpy clippers and are looking for something strong and sharp, look no further. Not very expensive for the quality either. They seem like they'll las for a long, long time. Very pleased with this product.
