I use these with my powerlifting program. My workouts are based on percentages of my one-rep max, so these allow me to be very accurate and go in 1lb increments for any barbell exercise. The plates are very well made and have a solid feel to them. The coating is smooth, even, and durable. They fit well over the bars at my gym; not too loose or too tight. These plates are also VERY accurate. Weight of each plate: 226 g = 7.972 oz 227 g = 8.007 oz 229 g = 8.078 oz 227 g = 8.007 oz 227 g = 8.007 oz 228 g = 8.042 oz 228 g = 8.042 oz 227 g = 8.007 oz That's a standard deviation of 0.857 grams (0.030 ounces), which is less than the weight of a paperclip. Overall, these plates are an excellent value for their quality and accuracy at a price lower than that of almost all other such fractional plates on Amazon.

These are perfect for going up 1lb at a time. I use them on my olympic barbells, and even on my 1" dumbells. I've ordered about 8 boxes of them now so I don't have to keep switching them around.

Just unpacked these and am very happy with how they look and feel. I have not tested them in the gym yet, so I cannot say if the finish will hold up well, but I tested them all on my scale and am pleased with the quality for the price.

They fit perfectly on both my barbells and adjustable dumbbells.

My husband bought these for micro-loading his shoulder press and bench press. He's on the Starting Strength program, which has the lifter add weight to the bar every workout, starting with 10 lbs and quickly shifting to 5 lbs, then eventually 2.5 lbs per workout. These plates allow the lifter to add just one pound, so he can still go up at a rate he can recover from. These are perfect for that use. He's been using them for ~3 months. They fit the olympic barbell well. The paint makes them very durable. Would buy again.

These weights are very well made and fit very nicely on the Olympic bar. My gym has 2 1/2 pound plates, so it's nice to be able to increase the weight on the bar in one-pound increments, up to the point of using the 2 1/2 pound plates.

I bought all 1/2 pound ones as I have bought into the increase by a pound only each week idea of increasing weight. Allows you to go up 52 pounds a year, safely, with your body adapting at a good pace. These are perfect. They look good, have a bag if you did want to take them to where you work out (I have a home gym), and the fit great. I'm sure the paint will chip in the center, as rubbing cpnstsntly on a metal barbell end will obviously do that, but the colour is close to steel, so it will be not noticable. I have a postal main scale. I weighed all the plates. A half pound is almost 227 grams. 6 of the 8 plates weighed 228, and the other two weight 226, so I'm quite happy with this. I felt the price was a tad high, but in line with what anyone else charges for this sort of thing. I would highly recommend.

Best price I could find during the pandemic and exactly what we wanted. Nothing pretty, just simple to help make those small weight increases.

What can ya say about 1/2 pound plates🤣 they weight what they way. If you buy these its because you understand 1Rm
