This is a really well made ladder shelf bookcase. I was very impressed at how well packaged this came. Nothing was damaged, or scratched. My son put it together for me in under 40 minutes. Instructions were very clear. All the screws, etc were with this piece. Even has a leather strap on the back to fasten it to your wall, keeping it from tipping. A well made USA product. Price was very reasonable. I really love it. I bought it to house some of my BBW candle holder collection. Thanks Sauder for a beautiful piece of furniture.

Packaged very well. Lots of parts and steps, but quite easy to assemble. I was able to put it together fine on my own in about 45 minutes, but it would be a lot simpler with an extra pair of hands! Quality is quite good, especially for the price point. Very sturdy, beautiful wood tone. All around recommended.

Sauder RTA furniture never disappoints me. This bookshelf is just the right size and style for my room. It wasn't easy to assemble alone, but I managed.

I am so happy I decided to order this wonderful ladder style bookcase. I originally thought I would cover the shelves with carpeting and make it a thing for my cat but I like it too much to do that. Like others have said, the hardest part was getting it out of the carton. But it was so well packed, There was no damage, all the parts were there, and the instructions were fine for putting it together. I am 71 years old and ended up using my drill driver. I am thrilled with the solidness and sturdiness of this and love the color. Would definitely recommend.

This is my second one I have purchased. The first one was purchased a few years ago. Was worried they wouldn’t match , they match perfectly. Very e easily assembled.

Shelf is easy to build and instructions easy to follow. Knocking off 1 star because a couple of shelves came with some damage (circled in pictures). On the bright side, they’re on the underside so not really noticeable. Overall, a good and sturdy shelf.

I wanted this to display my quilts in. It went together very smoot and is very sturdy. It's very heavy so it took only 2 old people to pick it up. LOL

This book shelf was super easy to assemble. I did it myself in about 1 hour or less. It is very sturdy and high quality.

Easy to assemble. There were a couple of cross pieces at the end that didn't line up with the holes but I switched them around and they were fine. I've bought furniture from this manufacturer before and generally their instructions are pretty clear.

I like the look so much I am considering buying another. It is well worth the price.
