Healthy Spirit, soul and body!
This book is written to truly help increase our quality of life that was intended by our Maker. It is difficult to be happy and productive if we are continually sick or tired. Eating healthily does not mean we need to sacrifice food that tastes good. We can ask God for heakth, but if we are continually poisoning our body by our choice in foods, how can we say we are being a good steward of what God has give us? I know the writer and know she practices what she teaches in this book. I highly recommend reading and applying what is taught to your entire family. More healthy, means increased satisfaction in every area of your life.

Exceptional Book!
This is a must-read book on nutrition, the natural way! I love how it focuses on God's plan for our lives, and the scriptures that reinforce the concepts of healthy eating! The author's personal journey really inspired me. It is the first book that actually gave me the motivation to make changes in my eating habits. I also love the helpful tips on food, spices, and medicines. The recipes are a bonus too!

Couldn't put it down!
I have NEVER read a book in ONE day. I did with this one, couldn't put it down! Patricia has so concisely compiled what it means to walk a successful walk with the Lord Jesus Christ! She covers SO many aspects of our lives: healthy eating, raising children, being a Christ honoring wife, how to stock your kitchen for that healthy eating, recipes (you must try the Raw Apple Pie p.143. I make this regularly, DE-LIC-IOUS!). I love her humility as she shares her failures as well as her success! GREAT BOOK! Thank you, Patricia for making this available to us.

Very informative and spiritually balanced.
I haven't finished reading this yet, but what I have read has given me great insight into what I need to be doing to improve my health. Trish simply writes her story with no judgment, balancing it with what the Word of God says about health and wholeness. There's a lot of info in this book which will bear going back to time after time for refreshing.

Comprehensive. Patricia covers all the bases combining her personal journey with sound nutrition, as well as scripture. She talks about the "forgotten sin" (gluttony) and emotional eating. This book also contains healthy, helpful tips, grocery shopping lists, and recipes.Also included, balancing your life, emotions, power of God's Word, and relationships (with God and others). Simply an amazing book!

This was my second purchase of this book. I loaned my first one our and it didn't come home. If you are/ or are interested in becoming Vegan, Trish is very knowledgeable. I have known her personally for 5-6 years, and recommend this book very highly.

Healing your own body
I always believed that you are what you eat. Tending the Temple gives you insight to healing yourself from the inside out. There are also some very good (and tasty) nutritious recipes. The author writes in a clear and concise way. Try it, you'll like it.
