Will these work with 10 gauge speaker wire?

Yes it should work fine with 10 gauge.

do they fit in spring clip

I have one older set of speakers that I used these with and the do fit--just. Pretty tight and not sure best use as if the spring clip breaks or no longer has enough tension will not work later w bare wire. If you want to use connectors rather than bare wire get "pin" style connectors instead.

For the people that have used these on outdoor speakers, how have they held up?

I have only used these inside. They are holding up very well.
