After reading the mixed reviews, I was skeptical but the cost of a new set of intercoms made it worth the effort to try the new batteries. I had the correct tiny tamper screwdriver for the screws. Pay attention, one or two of the screws are shorter than the rest. Make sure they are returned to the same holes. Also watch how the antenna and spring are positioned when you remove them. Replacing the batteries was a simple plug and play setup. The tolerance of the battery is tight enough that a new sticky tape wasn't necessary.After a couple of mis-starts with the screws and antenna position, I successfully got it all back together. Plugged it in to charge and wow! I didn't realize how bad my old batteries had deteriorated. It took only an hour or so for the charge light to turn off. We have taken several 8+ hour rides with no "low battery" drop outs. If your headsets are taking more than 5 hours to charge or they don't last a full day's ride, buy these replacements. They are money WELL SPENT!

I bought 2. One for me and one for my friend. His works ok, and mine does not hold a charge from the day I bought it. Contacted company and they refunded my money. I will now install the old battery since it is superior to the new one. So, don’t throw your old battery away until you are sure you don’t need it!

Was only able to charge it once, after the first charge was depleted the battery would not charge again. The manufacturer would not replace it, saying the warranty is only 200 days?!

The first battery I received would not charge. I requested a replacement. The second battery holds a charge but the charge indicator on my intercom unit does not function. Not sure if this is because the battery isn't charging fully enough for the intercom to read?First time out on the motorcycle with the 2nd battery, it went dead in about an hour. Factory batteries lasted 15 hours during the day on the motorcycle. I recharged it for 2 days and now it seems to hold it's charge well for half the day.For the price, it beats spending hundreds on new intercoms but I'm still not sold on the quality.
