Stainless Steel is much heavier than the brass and, of course, more durable. I had to use a vice to apply rivets because I was putting the tag on a "Soft Collar" which is double the width of standard leather collars. In doing so, I bent one rivet and had to contact the seller to get another rivet. (I also suggested they send more than one rivet with the tag for such mistakes.) They furnish a phone number and an email address with the tag which made it very easy, and a pkg of several extra rivets arrived in just two days. I would very much order again!

Very nice, better than expected. The engraving and coloring is deep and I suspect it will last. Very legible. It has a slight curve to it that fit my dogs' neck perfectly. I used a hot nail to make the holes in the collar. Inserted the backing through the collar and tag, and tapped them closed using a padded hard surface. Make sure it is compressed fully. Recommended.

Love this tag, the thing I like best is I can get the width to fit my collar, which is great for a small dog, I used to have to get wide ones and cut them down, these are nice tags, easy to rivet to collar, everyone should have a name and several phone numbers on their dog collars, no excuse not to.

This type is much better to use than the ones you hang on a ring. They don't make noise, don't wear, doesn't come off. This particular one is better than others I've used because you can feel where the information was etched into the metal (most tags are barely surface only).

Will definitely purchase again. Used on a leather collar so I did wind up purchasing a leather hole punch. Looks great, was very easy to attach, slight curve is practical for dog collar.

Came as expected, but had to buy a different type of rivet for the collar I wanted to use. Seems like it will last, but only time will tell if it will. Would definitely buy again!

The rivets are little snaps and within a short time one of the Rivets unsnapped and we almost lost the name tag—-I had used superglue to hold it in place as well. Had to break off the other side(which was easy) but the name tag itself is beautiful! The engraving is perfect.
