NTK is the actual OEM O2 sensor for many vehicles
We have a 2003 ford focus with 350,000 mi... Ive used a motocraft O2 sensor in the car before because I assumed all parts used on the ford would be motocraft...However, that sensor started giving codes within 2 yrs of install...I looked back to the original sensor the car came with and it was an NTK so I decided to try the proper ntk as a replacement this time...the sensor here is used in the upstream position and seems to work well..time will tell... no codes so far.. the one here is the factory recommended part for ford focus 2003 with zetec...

Great fitting and functioning product.
I used these on a Mustang GT and for the most part they were identical to the Motorcraft. The wire leads are longer on these and the actual connector body plugs in nice, but does not have the same alignment ribs as the oem. This does not create any issues with using them. The thing that I like most about these over the oem, is the fact that the leads are longer. On the Mustang the two front O2 sensors plugs are a real nightmare to get to, so luckily I was changing them and I just cut them off to get the exhaust out of the way for easier changing. Because the leads are longer it leaves a little slack, and a better fit with the aftermarket exhausts. They provide a good reading and cross counts. Time will tell on longevity

Installed easily as a direct replacement on my 2005 Grand Marquis when replacing my original driver side catalytic converters.

If replacing passenger side
Passenger side O2 sensorI bought my 03' Mercury Grand Marquis with 92k miles on her and from day one she would always ping when at low rps going up hills. I remedied this by putting 91 octane fuel in, thinking I just had deposits which would cause the premature ignition. At about 300k miles, my passenger side upstream O2 sensor went out so I replaced it with this oem one and finally...no more pinging!Evidently, the O2 sensor has to totally fail to illuminate the check engine light. Unfortunately, if it's just a little off, you just get pinging. It was pinging because the sensor was slightly stuck on lean, causing a rich mixture. These sensors really only last 80-200k miles if you're lucky so save about 30 cents/gallon and put new O2 sensors in!! I've also noticed she now idles smooth as silk which she had never done before. Now for installing, If you have a crown Vic, grand marquis, or Lincoln Towny, you'll need the special slotted 22mm O2 sensor tool. You'll have to disconnect a large electrical connection just above the O2 sensor connection in order to fit the O2 socket over the sensor itself with your ratchet. ASK ME HOW I KNOW THIS.

2003 Ford Taurus is a bear to install on..just sayin'
Need special O2 sensor sockets, drop exhaust, blah x 3...... Part is top notch, service shop said they don't install other people's parts they bring in until I showed him the part new in box and he said "oh, that's all we'll install here" so he did the job for the book rate on top of an oil change. So it pays to ask. I wouldn't touch that job on the 3 in back and under the engine. The front one is easy. Good luck.

A-OK
This O2 sensor is direct OEM replacement for a 2000 Mustang. It comes with the anti-seize already applied. I was able to clear a CEL with this and it runs good. I was somewhat disappointed that the pigtail was slightly longer than stock, but that can be remedied with a zip tie. I took advantage of the low price here on Amazon. I got it same day delivery with Prime cheaper than what my local retailer charged.

No more CHECK ENGINE light
This part was reasonably priced compared with other manufacturers for the same product. I had to have it installed due to the location in my application. The CHECK ENGINE light no longer comes on and its been a few months now. As far as I can tell I am good to go.
