This set of tools is a quality addition to my set.

These are extremely nice wrenches. I have been exposed to many different types, brands, and quality of tools, as the son of a mechanic, who was also the son of a mechanic. And working with tools everyday, I get a good feel for the quality of tools pretty quickly. From the very first feel, to the continuous use, these are some of the best tools, specifically and brand, that I have used. I have primarily Mac, but have started to purchase a few other types when I find something I like. These are as quoted, longer wrenches, that allows for smoother torque when needed. I also like the small features, like the extended depth of the box end, yet narrow for tight spaces. These are really good wrenches, and well thought out in their design.

If you borrow a tool once they say you need to buy the tool. So that's exactly what I did. This is a great product especially when trying to get into tight locations. However, when I received mine it came with two 11/32 and no 5/16. Pfft. I bought this set specifically for the 5/16. Dealing with the seller national tool warehouse on the issue has resulted in nothing in which I had to buy the 5/16 separately. If you change out blocker doors on thrust reversers you will be happy you purchased this set amongst other reasons.

Carry these on my truck for road side repairs and I have used my legs to push the wrench (box end of course) to break bolts free without any problems

Extremely happy with these wrenches, the length is ideal. I’m a helicopter mechanic and I would and have recommended these wrenches.

I ordered the metric and standard version of the gearbox long handle, ratcheting wrench set after seeing them at another shop. I own a professional repair shop and found that they work gear for hard to access drain plugs, calipers bolts, intake bolts along with other narrow areas were previously, I was using a "cheater" pipe at the end of a normal wrench. One thing that threw me off, initially was that they are straight. There is no curve to the wrench, like a traditional combination wrench. I did realize while using them, that when your facing the max amount of torque necessary for break loose a bolt, you bolt want a curve. It only encourages the wrench to want to walk off. I haven't used the ratcheting (box) end as much as I thought I would but, they few times I have, it is smooth and works in tight areas. I highly recommend owning a set of these wrenches if you work on a car more than once a week. The company I ordered them through (KD Tools) had good pricing and they were sent out right away. No complaints. They arrived just as expected. Because, to be honest. I hate having to keep buying new tools but, once I order them, I cant wait to get them.

5/16 ratchet retainer fell off. The ratxhet drum is free to pop in or out.
