UPDATE 2018-04-01:Amazon sold version shines/Opps Store version: 1* Pump failure after 9 days of normal use in soft water area.
lUPDATE 01 April 2018: I am grading up the review to five stars for the Amazon sold version of this model as it has none of the issues mentioned in the review below for the "Opps Store" sold version. The "Opps Store" sold version remains *one star* for the reasons listed in the prior review to follow:***************************This one was purchased through the "Opps Store".No other choice was available at this price point at the time (Now Amazon sells its own for cheaper) After 9 days it failed. The first sign of failure was a drip of hot, clear water while heating. The water was coming from up inside the tank, above and in back of the cup holder. This began after three days of normal use. Two days ago, day 7, the drip continued and I could live with that, but when the unit had heated and all the blue indicator (cup size, etc strong) lights were blinking, I put the handle down to brew and punched my choice. Nothing. My cup size choice was lit in blue, but nothing. I lifted the handle and tried it again. Nothing. I turned the unit off and back on to reset it and repeated the process and it worked. This morning it happened again. Only this time I got a grinding noise for a second. I tried the method before that worked and nothing. It heats the water, drips, but will not brew. I emptied the tank, checked for obstructions in the brewer, it was still sparkling clean with no obstructions. So on day 9, I am returning it. The reason I bought this simple model was due to the fact I had purchased the mainline version K500 series models at a big box retail store and had to return it four times for failed pumps. The return agent actually told me "We get more of these back than we sell". The K575 model elsewhere in the house is starting to sound poorly. At work, I have my very first generation Keurig (pre-proprietary) machine bought years ago still working fine. I bought this one in the hopes its simpler design would mean more reliability, but apparently not. I am returning this in favor of the Amazon sold version. Should it fail, then I am done with Keurig. Five (and soon to be six) failed machines for water pump issues in a soft water area? That is a major design flaw. I use it normally. Few cups per day. It might be time to return to basket brew machines. Keurig, you need to fix this.I am updating this review to reflect that the version I received that was sold by Amazon has worked without the flaws of this one.

Water Capacity About Five, Eight Ounce Mugs
This coffee maker makes about 5, 8 ounce mugs of coffee before the reservoir needs refilling. The reservoir is easy to lift out and replace. It turns itself off after about an hour after the last coffee is made. Heating water from a cold start is less than 2 minutes. It is very reasonably quiet during operation. It seems to be well made and easy to clean.

Great Coffee Maker-Not as stylish as previous model
We've used the Keurig for years. We've found it fast, convenient and durable. They make great coffee in infinite variety, as well as tea, cocoa and flavored coffees. Bought this new Keurig K-Select not because the old one wore out but because my wife wanted a color change to white. None of the fancier models like the new Elite come in white so the choice was an older "classic" model or this one, which is Keurig's new economy model, both at about the same price. I guess the easiest way to rate this coffee maker is the "good and the bad". First let me say that Amazon and it's vendor were great as usual and it arrived promptly. actually in one day with an early morning order. The Good:1. White, of course if that's what you want. Comes in lots of other colors as well.2. Quite inexpensive at about $1003. Smaller foot print and an inch shorter. Less counter space and more clearance under the counter when lifting the handle.4. Lighter and easier to maneuver. The old one had a much bulkier and heaver look and feel.5 They added a 12 oz option along with a "strong" feature. So if you like coffee you can get 12 oz at the same strength you use to get with 10 oz. Or just go for stronger coffee. We really like this feature.6. THE COFFEE IS NOTICIABLY HOTTER, at least ours is.7. Controls are very simple. Nothing to read, adjust, set. Just push a couple of buttons and great coffee coms out. Gives it a very clean look.8. Holds a little more water but not enough to really notice. The Not So Good:1. The finish is a heavy mat, so it's not at all shiny or reflective. In contrast to the white, semi-gloss cabinets common in white kitchens, it's just a bit out of style. It's great if you're not looking for white to match other appliances and the cabinets and probably OK in other colors, but we feel the white finish is a bit off and one might look at the Classic model if that's important.2. It's smaller and lighter. Sounds like the Good comment, but our old classic was ridged, well finished plastic and chrome that had a quality feel and look. This one looks a little flimsy and cheap up close. OK at a distance, but up close, clearly not the heavy duty construction of past models. That's about it. We decided to keep it rather than reordering the Classic model. What sold us was the smaller foot print, the 4 cup sizes and strong option (not available on the Classic). When we started making coffee, the hotter coffee was just an added bonus. There are a couple of You Tube reviews that also say it's hotter. Really, the finish isn't that bad, but for just a little more thought, we think Keurig could have made a bit slicker looking product at the same cost point. So that's the best evaluation my wife and I can make.

Keurig coffee maker
Best of them all. I've purchased these machines over the years. This one has outlasted all. I needed another for quest so I purchased another. Pakg well and in perfect working condition. Can't live without the strong button this unit has.Very happy. Even though this machine is more money than other styles it's not considering how long it last working.
