Plastics were a perfect fit and the camera has a great picture and is staying weather tight as I would have hoped. I did not have to drill any holes in my tailgate, I was able to use an existing one. took a minute to fish it through to the handle area but wasn't hard at all. But there are a few things to point out. The quality of the rubber or plastic "RCA" wire connections probably aren't as durable as what you might have hooked up to your living room television. As you can see I pulled a little too hard when it was hung up on a hole I drilled through a plastic pop out on the cab of my truck, which really didn't take too much effort at all to cause the connector to break apart. Luckily I am quite proficient in soldering and was able to take that same end off an old RCA wire from inside the house as stores don't seem to carry these replacements anymore. Yes I even had to repair the tiny middle wire if you can see it. The red wire is a trigger power wire. I ran a separate power wire through the entire run to the back of the truck from my aux power wire on the back of the head unit so I can check my cam whenever I want without having to put it in reverse. Great for checking on a trailer.. ect. Also the metal clips that come on the back of the plastic housing don't fit back into the factory slots as good as the originals so I popped them off of my factory piece and used them again as they let it stay in tightly, the clips this new piece has are too big or don't have the proper spacing. All in all I love it! Just had to deal with a few flaws and take the time to do it but am happy with my purchase!!

Just shows a weird picture. 1st one I installed did it and they sent me another one and checked it before I installed it and it did the same thing. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning 2 of these. Not worth the waste of time.

The product looks amazing installed in my 2007 Sierra and works great. I did a good amount of YouTubing to figure out how best cut holes in my truck bed and how to optimally run the wires under the truck. It took me about 6 hours to complete the install, but I’m very happy with the end product.

Camera is off center and not great quality. Looks the part for OEM.

Works great, and can see the ball of the hitch, don't buy anything else, everything worked perfectly and better than expected, first time.Fitment is perfect, easy to install, the color matches exactly, read the into make it AHD for the highest image quality 👍🏻👍🏻.

i installed this on my 2009 2 years ago with the help of you tube .. I would recommend buying this as it has worked flawlessly through out the year including winter in tempertures to -35 C

Easy to install. Like the fact you don't have to use the parking lines and nice connector so the tailgate can be removed. A little difficult to line up the plug in but other than that works great and looks original

for the price its pretty good, the only problem with it is that a like a tunnel vision when your back-in up other wise no issue

Toute les caméras de recul pour camion GMC ou Chevrolet , l'angle de vu est trop axé sur l'arrière du véhicule et ont ne peux voir la boule de branchement de remorque du tout , J'ai dus modifié la caméra dans trou de rétention en créant une fissure entre la poignée et la caméra. Aussi je ne peux faire de zoom avec la caméra lors du branchement de remorque.
