A Hole Is To Dig and Open House for Butterflies

I lovely little book full of great wisdom like "a baby is a very convenient thing to be." Copies are hard to find and I like to send Open House for Butterflies as a baby gift to a sibling. I love "there ought be a parade when a baby is born." The illustrations are lovely, black and white and child friendly. Book seems out of print but I buy another copy everytime I see it.

A perfect book for 2-4 year olds. Blissfully silly, fabulous illustrations, and sheer perfection. I have bought and given away close to 20 copies over the years.

This is a classic. Charming illustrations and text. I actually got it for myself because I find it inspiring and very Zen. So simple and pure. A hole is to dig. I love it.

Such a sweet book and in very good condition. The illustrations are detailed and lovely too. I've even enjoyed reading these precious lines. I can't wait to share it with the grandchildren.
