Put a fine holled pasta strainer in a bucket
Many people don't know this, but DampRid moisture absorbers are exactly the same thing as this type of snow melt (calcium chloride). Put a fine holled pasta strainer in a bucket, fill with crystals, and you have yourself a large DIY moisture remover at a fraction of the cost of DampRid products.The quality and consistency of this product is good. Not as cheap as you could get at a local store in the winter, but not bad when you can't get the stuff anywhere in the middle of summer.
