Just the facts
Great book for the very basics of ACLS. Not for first timers. If you have studies the AHA ACLS provider manual already, then this is a good quick review, no fluff, no repetition, and a much easier interface than the ebook from AHA. Just be aware that Vasopressin is mentioned as an alternative to Epi, but Vasopressin has been dropped from the very latest algorithm. Also, the quiz at the back of the book has a couple of errors, questions 9 and 19 don't make sense. As long as you know about these two little issues, I fully recommend the book for ACLS review. Also, the ebook was free on Kindle--great!

Excellent
Great material, information is concise and to the point. Better than the AHA ACLS book which tends to be condescending. Highly recommended!

I am a Physician Assistant and need ACLS to keep hospital privileges. I needed an online course due to time constraints. I like that there were 10 CME credits associated with the course. The book was easy to follow, but when I went to take the test, I found there were multiple topics covered poorly or not at all in the text which were then required on the exam. If the text were more comprehensive, I would gladly give it more stars.

Great Product - Use it everyday
Was hesitant at first to purchase due to some negative reviews but took the chance considering they said to have updated the product. Pleasantly surprised with the updates and the ways they addressed the issues others were facing. Bottom line, it is an excellently reformatted edition. It is utilized by our entire departmentas a great guide to have available during training and to have as areference.Frank Johanson, MDAssociate DirectorDepartment of Anesthesiology and Critical Care MedicineTeamHealth Anesthesia Dallas

this does correlate with most of the current version of AHA ACLS. if you've done your ACLS re-cert several times and work in an ER or unit where you are consistently using your skills this is great, for a refresher. If you however are not strong in the ACLS process its better to just buy approved AHA ACLS book.

Exactly what I needed
The Kindle ACLS handbook is precisely what I was looking for. It downloaded directly onto my iPad/iPhone and I was able read it immediately. They did a nice job making the algorithms and other images clear and enlargeable. I'm not sure why I didn't have this electronically before. It's so much better. Clean, easy, elegant, searchable, and always in my pocket.UPDATE: The overall layout, formatting, and fonts are much better with the new edition.

A Book to Read
The book is a good book if you want to learn ACLS and even BLS. I haven’t found any error so far. However, if I se one, I’ll report it. I even bought the audiobook which I don’t regret. This book is free, for that matter.
