Falls apart the same way cheap Walmart jackets due. The cuffs are worn in less than 2 weeks exposing a cloth backing. Obviously NOT real leather!False advertising!

This jacket is like a well made new boot. The stitching is sound. Many separate panels across the body. Thirsty thick leather. I work with leather as a hobby. I tan my own local animals and make this type of item. Been too busy, this year or so, and needed a new presentable jacket. This is a jacket, not a coat. A winter coat is meant to go over your suit and tie. It's very well stitched with thick leather. I reckon that it was machine broken leather, quickly sewn and not much attention after. I'm a barrel chested man that is usually 48 to 50 inch chest. Not much of a gut. I bought the large, rated at that chest size. It was tight when I put it on. However, the leather had much to give. I put some taxidermy oil on it it. It went from creaking to conforming to my body. Very thirsty leather that waits for you to do the final breaking. Leather is wearing a skin over your skin. It had a couple of stain blemishes on it. Or lack of stain... Which I'm fine with. It makes me think it was hand stained and not dunk tank stained. I really like the jacket. Just don't buy it to wear out on the town the first night you get it. You will need to condition the leather and break it in.

I love the look of leather almost as much as I love Bane from The Dark Knight Rises, so I really had no choice. The coat objectively looks classy and badass regardless of price. The big thing you should consider is sizing. I am 5' 8" and 160lbs. My arms are quite long for my height and my torso quite small and I fit nicely into a large. It does not look exactly like Bane's coat as it is a much lighter color, the collar is smaller and the cut is more form-fitting by design. Bane's coat was not made to keep him warm, but to make Tom Hardy (5' 9") look taller and bulkier than Christian Bale (6"0")., which is why the actual coat has a different cut and proportions. The jacket does scratch, but you can fix it using the most basic of leather care products. I am not an expert in leather, but I expect this to last me 5-10 years easily.NOTE: I got the Shearling Peacoat not some of the other coats Bane wore in The Dark Knight

The leather material seemed fine but the white on the inside of the jacked seemed to come off. Also The coat didn't seem to be totally well put together. The arms of the coat seemed as if they were made for a smaller coat as compared to the rest of the coat. The body of the coat was too small to be considered an XL and i think that an XXL may be more comparable to USA standards. I was going to return the coat to the company but have since given it away to a man who had no coat and it seemed to be fine for him.

Although this coat is very warm and great looking (looks exactly as pictured), I would caution any one intending to buy this coat... IT IS NOT FOR EVERYDAY WEAR. The buttons had to be sewn back on within a week of receiving and wearing it. The lining of the coat sheds constantly, so don't wear anything dark under it. On the positive side, it shipped quickly (within 2 weeks) and it is very warm.

I received this peoduct today, about 7 days early. I expected the worst. I purchased this item before I read the reviews, so i expected to send it back. When I opened the package, I checked the quality of the leather right away. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and marksmanship of this jacket. I wear XL in American size jackets, so I ordered a 3X. After reading all the complaints concerning the size, I contracted Amazon, who was most gracious, and reached out to the vendor and who changed the size from XL to 3X. Am glad I did. I saw the reviews concerning the brown version of this jacket. I would suggest you buy the black. Very impressed! But is just the first day. I hope it holds up to the NY winter.

Nice looking coat. I normally wear a XXL but I ordered a XXXL & I just barely got it on. Obviously, coming from middle east it was made for a smaller build. Will gift it to someone.
