Just as I remembered it
Black Jack gum was fresh and soft as gum should be. Black licorice flavor delicious, but flavor could last longer. Brings back good childhood memories!

Black Jack ? I think not
Not any where near like the original gum. The flavor only lasts about 10 minutes, then it begins to resemble cardboard. Initial bites the gum just breaks up like it has been frozen. Very disappointed.

Stale. Not wrapped as a package as in photo. Single packages held together with a rubber band.
I was very disappointed. The packaging of the product did not look as did the photo. When I opened the package, I found the gum to be very stale.

IF YOUR A FAN OF STALE GUM
O.K. Someone out there is saying "You Should Have Known Better," but darn I missed Black Jack Gum so much that I couldn't resist. This gum was Stale and Virtually Tasteless. Well at least the label said "BlackJack." Yes, I should have known better.

Can’t bend the stick. It shatters. About 2 minutes of taste. Never tasted gum this stale. I’d return it but it’s not worth the trouble. Trash.

Perfectly subtle black licorice flavor.
Our kids love this, which pleases me very much since I was born in Europe and you don’t find a lot of black licorice products in America. I started out by giving it to them in their Christmas stockings last year as a special treat. And then they asked for it afterwards several times.

Not what I remember
This Black Jack flavor is not what I remember from the past. A poor gum at best.
