Note that this controller analogue thumb controller does not have the same level of resolution as the original controller. For example, it can go diagonal directions but doesn't have resolution for between diagonal and top/down, left/right axis. This may only be an issue if you're playing games that require that. Also, If you use the analogue control for things like controlling level of accelleration in a car game then it'll be either full on or off, no level in between. Again, not all games require this level of control. For me, I've bought this as a spare controller for my PS3. For the price it's worth the drop of resolution as I still use the original controller for most of the time, except when both my kids want to play as well.The feedback vibration is strong, other buttons works as expected, and grip is comfortable. The depressing of the 4 main buttons on the right is lighter and displacement is shorter than original ones, but hardly noticeable if you're not looking for it. Overall, a good value as a 3rd or spare controller.

Why so many people as in more people have given this controller a five-star rating I'll never know unless they enjoy using broken items. This controller is nothing but pure and utter worthless junk and this is why.1. The controller is cheaply made and the PS button keeps on getting stuck.2. The battery can never be charged. I've left the charger wire plugged in more than enough and eight seconds after removing the wore the controller goes off where there's no power in the useless battery.3. The charger wire is only two feet long so that defeats the purpose of buying a wireless controller because you'll have to sit right next to the PlayStation 3 while playing games. We might as well have a wired controller seeing that the battery in this wireless controller can never be charged.4. The PlayStation button is dead so you can't boot-up the PlayStation 3 with the controller and when a game is loaded you can't use the PlayStation button to close the game so that you can either play another game or shut the PlayStation 3 down. This means the only way to get to what you need to do is by pressing the Off button on the PlayStation 3 and that doesn't do well for the PlayStation 3 because it means having to scan for errors every time you boot-up the PlayStation 3 because it wasn't turned off properly.I'm returning my controller for a full refund. This version of the controller is a 100% insult.

Cons:Playing Fighting games: The triggers on the back are too sensitive, just the slightest touch and they register inputs.The d-pad is horrible, I struggled to do basic moves like down to forward fireball with ryu (hadoken) or any similair motion, it don't register correctly.Lego jurassic park: We got to a certain point in the game where it requires you to rotate the left analogue stick in a circular motion in order to turn a handle in the game. No matter how hard or how slow we turned it with this controller it wouldn't work in the game so we switched to a standard dualshock 3 controller and it worked straight away!Pros:Good battery lifeComfortable in the handDoes register as an actual dualshock controller (You can turn on the console with the PS button)I was hoping for a decent controller to replace some of our broken dualshock 3s since they're no longer manufactured but sadly this is not it so I can't reccomened it.

Bought to replace original PS3 controller (which eventually expired after many years of use). Works OK, but the original PS3 controller felt more comfortable to use.Haven't rated batteries because I tend to use with cable connected. And I guess the funny symbols on right hand buttons are just so they're different to the orginal.

Honestly I had very low expectations when I bought this controller. Taking it out of its packaging it does feel very much third party BUT as soon as I plugged it in and started playing it definitely started to feel better in the hand. It doesn't feel like an official pad but it works really well and given the price its definitely great value for money. Buttons are a bit more smooshy than the official but they're functional and the thumbsticks and d pad feel great. The d pad especially was important for me as I play a lot of 2D platformers and side scrollers so a good d pad is needed for precision. I'm happy to say it measures up.Overall I think if you're in the market for replacement controllers and you don't want to buy used official ones or pay too much then these are worth looking into.

The day of bad off-brand ps3 controllers is over. This controller looks very similar to the original and the size and weight are basically the same. The battery life seems great, the batteries in the original controllers are no gone so I'm not able to compare although they last long enough for gaming sessions. Pairing them is simple too. I now have two controllers to replace the two original controllers.

The media could not be loaded.  In all honesty it's better than the original joypad, really like the finger grip and that the L1 R2 buttons have a bit more resistance than the original.Connected without issues to the PS3

So recently, I bought this controller to play demons souls on my ps3 as I had lost my previous one, and all I could say is that this product is probably one of the best third party controllers on the market rn.Its overall quite comfortable to use and has a pretty solid battery life (got it 2 days ago and it still hasn't died).Furthermore, the value for money is great, with it being a great, alternative to the standard ps3 controller if you don't want to spend too much money.My only triple with this product is that it isn't as resolute as the official ps3 controller, with it only allowing you to move in 8 directions when playing 3d games, which you can Definetly feel when playing games that require these movements (e.g dark souls).Overall, I personally recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to an official ps3 controller.
