Rockport Men's Lead The Pack Wingtip Oxford

I have been wearing these shoes daily for five months. I have polished them twice and they still look fine for everyday business casual wear. I normally wear the outer edge of my heels off very quickly. I am impressed at how well the heels have held up on these shoes. The outer edges of the heels are barely rounded at this point. The tread provides excellent grip for Northern winters in comparison to many casual shoes I have worn.There was a 4 or 5 week break in period during which the taper at the end of the shoe would irritate my little toe on either foot. I normally buy wide widths. Since these shoes are standard width, I would say that the toe box is adequate for most normal feet. Now, five months later, the uppers and soft, flexible, and comfortable.My shoes are often exposed to salt, ice, and slush during the winter. Despite this exposure, there is no obvious drying or cracking of the leather. The shoes seem very resilient and durable. I highly recommend these shoes for everyday business casual wear.

I usually have to buy wider dress shoes (E/2E). These Rockports are lightweight, waterproof, and for under $100 this was a real find. I can wear them all day. I have pretty flat feet and the arches felt just right. No arch cramps at all. I've worn them in the rain and my socks stayed dry. Haven't tried them in the snow yet.Update: 8/17/15Wore these on a weeklong business trip in NYC and Boston and clocked several miles in these. Still super comfortable. Originally paid $55 for these from Amazon Prime. Not sure why they've doubled in price now. Still worth every penny.Also, for those of you experiencing issues w/ the laces coming undone, I did encounter that as well since the laces seem to be coated with some sort of slippery substance. Eventually I realized I've been tying my laces wrong for the past few decades. Do a search on Google for "tie shoes the right way" and you'll see simple yet subtle difference in technique makes a world of difference.

I have worn Rockport shoes for a while as they are nice looking, professional and are comfortable to wear.I decided to get this pair of wingtips for a change after working through several different styles. First impressions are that the wingtips look nice and are interesting.The shoes fit my feet very well and instantly were fine. There were not really moments of adjustment and after a few wears the shoes fit without any problems.The soles are the best part as this looks like a great pair of professional shoes suitable for wearing with suits but with comfortable soles that allow the wearer to stand and walk around without the slipping and sliding I associate with wooden soled shoes.Overall: Excellent shoes for the money depending on which design you want these all seem great. This pair is great, looks nice, comfortable and wears well.

I bought these specifically for a business trip where I would help the staff of a week long seminar. I wore my women's dress shoes last year and was miserable as I had to stand most of the time during 12 hour work days. This year I took my brand new Rockports, which looked great and in addition were very comfortable on my extra wide feet. The shoes were nice and roomy even on an after hours swollen foot. They only thing I would change is that they were just a smidgen too long, but that's common for my size foot going from women's to men's sizes. They rubbed the back of my right heel a bit during the first two days, after that the break in period was over, and they were so well cushioned I even took off jogging during a rush job with no issues. These were so comfortable and spacious, I will add insoles next time and be assured to have a snug fit. The two most common complaints I read were also true, shoes are squeaky, but mostly on highly waxed tile floors and the stiff laces come undone very easily. The latter was solved with a double knot. :)

I owned several pairs of this same shoe for the last 5 years. I usually buy a pair every 10 months. I stand up a lot, they wear well, the comfort sole has a shock absorber which helps me to walk well and the shoe is has a waterproof leather with a oil repellent sole. I wear them 8 hrs every every day and my shoes take a beating as i walk inside a conference center with 30k sq ft of space; so i walk about 2 or 3 miles a day on these shoes. Highly recommended them, i love the wing tips; really make the shoes a classic fit to be worn with a suit.

I was impressed with these shoes the moment I opened the box. They just felt and looked great. The product is Made in India (and not China) and workmanship reflects the better quality of its country of origin. Out of the box, the shoes have a incredibly good shine, and whatever was applied to create the shine, was also applied to the laces making them slippery. As a result, for several days, the laces would tend to get untied, until the shine coating wears off (the laces itself are high quality). The shoes are a bit stiff initially but subsequently are quite comfortable. The shoes look great and is suitable with either formal or casual wear. And best of all, it is also waterproof.

I've been a fan of Rockport shoes for a long time but I've been frustrated in the past with how different styles will have such different fit. I've also found some of the dress shoes to be stiff. After looking these ones over and reading some of the reviews I decided to give them a try as a dress shoe I can wear comfortably outside in the winter. Boy am I glad I did. These shoes are so comfortable that I can wear them all day. They have a nice grip on the sole for those slick winter days and I'm no longer worried about ruining my shoes if I take a wrong step into some slush. Obviously I wouldn't use the as an alternative for a boot but they're great for any activity where I'll be wearing a suit. This was such a great purchase. If you have to do much walking outdoors where you have to look good, these are the perfect shoe.

I quite like these shoes, this is the 2nd pair I have purchased, they fit very well and are comfortable. I wear these daily to work and find the soles last reasonably well for the amount of use they get. I also like that they are water proof.
