I love love love this cloak!! It is heavy and soft and warm! No more binding, bulky, and unflattering coats for me!!I was worried it wouldn’t fit me as I weigh around 260 pounds and wear a 2-3x but it’s honestly perfect. I am 5’6” tall and this cloak falls perfectly to my ankles. It does not drag the ground which is great!I did remove the clasp and replace it with some prettier cloak clasps. I put one set at the top and then another lower down about mid chest. I also used the two big buttons from the original closure and sewed them insides under the arm holes to have a place to attach my arm warmers when not wearing them. I also sewed in a sturdy strip of ribbon along the back of the neck to hang the cloak by on my coat rack.I wore this cloak to Disney World in early January 2021 and it was just wonderful. I used the lower clasps I had sewed on most often as I prefer a more open neck and the cloak and hood laid so nicely on my shoulders. The cloak has amazing flow and grace when worn. I got so many real compliments.The arm warmers that came with the cloak are good but I ended up ordering some others that went all the way up my arms instead of just to my elbow.I often did not use the arm holes as they were slightly constricting for theme park movement. But they are wonderful to use for more delicate outings.This cloak held up amazingly well through our two cold days at the parks. It never looked dirty or wrinkled and it was always warm and soft. I was really impressed with how soft the wool was as I have sensation issues with itchy clothing that this wasn’t itchy at all.I also love taking this cloak with me to movie theaters (when we can safely go) as I am always cold in the theater and this cloak is the perfect size to use as a blanket while you sit back and watch a movie. It also makes an amazing travel blanket for long road trips when the hubs tries to freeze me out.100% recommend and will definitely be buying another one in black.

When I ordered this robe I wasn't expecting to like it so much. It looks exactly as pictured and does come with arm warmers, which is a bonus for me. It's a thick soft wool-like fabric and heavier than I expected. It'll keep you warm on those chilly nights. It exceeded my expectations and I love the look and feel of it. Unlike other costume cloaks, it does not feel or look cheap at all. It has a strap with button enclosure instead of satin ties, which makes the cloak look even better and feel very authentic. I bought a dark brown one that looks almost black in dim lighting. I do NOT regret buying this and plan on ordering another color, just not sure which one yet. Love this! You will too!

Love Love Love this cape!!!!! It is Very nice, heavy duty fabric. It has a lining. The hood is very nice and big. I am thinking of putting fur on it. It comes with arm warmers too! It doesn't have pockets. That was a bummer. But it really is warm and comfortable.i love that it is so long also. I would definitely buy it again.

This is a wonderful thick cloak that is very warm and comfortable and the added arm warmers are a nice touch. That being said, it gets VERY heavy when wet so keep a careful watch on the weather when you wear it. Also the buttons are tight but I’m sure they will be easier with wear

I absolutely love this cloak. It’s big enough that my grandchildren can sit wrapped inside it and be warm. I bought it because I wear long skirts and need to protect them and me from the elements. The only problem is it is so heavy it doesn’t stay on my shoulders. I’ll find a way to fix that, though. It’s a wonderful cloak.

Would be 5 stars if only (easy fixes, so don't go away!)The weight of the material is great. This is an actual piece of clothing, not just a costume item.I'm going to go into some detail about ways it could be improved, but don't let that dissuade you from purchasing it. I don't think you will find one of this quality for less. There are some here on Amazon that look to be the exact same cloak for about 25% less, and I considered buying another color from them, but noted they want that difference in shipping fees, so not worth the risk since I know this is great material.I will likely be back for a brown, green or black one from this shop eventually(If all my modifications go as planned, resulting in a near perfect winter cloak).It's a very warm and heavy wool-blend material.It's unlined, which is okay, but it would be nicer if it had a lining.The hood is HUGE, which is nice if you like a bit of drama. It's difficult to keep on properly because of all the extra fabric in the hood but I love that style where the hood drapes on the shoulders. I just have to figure out how to mod it so it will stay put. I'm thinking a few well-placed tiny stitches to tack the hood into a more structured shape might do the trick. It consistently falls over to one side or down over my face entirely. Not elegant.The other BIG negative is that there is no tailoring at all for shoulders. It's just a semi-circle, so the first thing I want to do is stitch in a few darts so it will sit on my shoulders and not just hang down putting all the weight of the thing on the button closure.Speaking of the buttons, I found them to be ill placed. I plan to replace them with some sort of clasps oncle I'm done with my modifications to improve the drape and weight distribution.If the makers of this cloak put a little more time into the details, it would easily be a five star item.I guess a lot of people are looking for a single use costume cloak, but it's a shame to design with them in mind, since with a little more work it could be an item that could be worn for years and years. The price is a bit high considering the time I'll have to put into it, but the quality of fabric and stitching is great so all in all I'm glad I found it and purchased it.If you've been searching for a woolen cloak you can really wear, and can manage some simple sewing alterations (or know someone who can), I say go ahead and try this one!You can always send it back if you're not happy with it.By the way, I'm 5'3", 215 lbs,Approx measurements 50-38-50 and the cloak is plenty roomy, with dramatic voluminous swirl when wanted, and comes almost to my ankles.I'll try to add some photos when I can, before and after alterations.

I ordered this cape as a covering foran outdoor Irish wedding ceremony. I am 5'2" and it touches the ground but with a small heel it is the perfect length. The fabric is heavy and hangs just right. I know this will keep me warm in the cold wind.
