Wrangler Men's Riggs Workwear Ranger Work Utility Pants

Great work pants, Medium weight
I have been wearing the Wrangler Riggs Ranger pant for a few years now and they are great but too heavy for when it's above about 50degF outside to me. I found these while shopping for a new couple pairs of the regular ones and thought I would give them a try. The material is quite a bit lighter weight than the reg. Ranger pant(compare the weight of the regular ones to a standard Carhartt work pant). These still have all the features of the reg. ones(cargo pockets that snap, and deep front, rear and cargo pockets. I really like both styles of these pants and hope they don't change either. I used to wear Carhartt all the time until they started manufacturing overseas and there sizing and quality control really suffered. I kept having to buy and send back because they varied so much from pair to pair in size. If you want a durable and comfortable work pant you can't go wrong with these. My normal size(31x32) fits perfectly.

Great pants - lack Ranger knee reinforcement
I own the regular Ranger pants and really love them. I wanted to get a lighter version since a lot of my work time is digging outdoors in the sun. They fit the same as the regular Ranger pants, so the same size worked for me. The material is definitely much lighter and dries faster. The pants are really comfortable and airy. The material is more of a jean material than the ripstop on the regular pants, which is probably less durable, but the stitching and seams look just as strong. Hard to say how durable these will end up being until I've had them longer. My reason for only 4/5 stars is that these pants lack the knee reinforcement and slot for sliding in knee pads, which the regular Ranger pants have. This was one of my most appreciated feature in the originals and I was disappointed the lighter version did not have this.Despite the shortcoming, I do like the pants and would recommend them.

Nice fabric, great features.
The description says "lightweight" but I would not consider these to be "lightweight". The material seems to be very durable and much thicker than my other Wrangler Classic Cargo Pants. A 'pleasant' surprise.I got the 36"x36" because 34"x34" would be just a slightly snug in the waist and slightly short in the legs. Just wish that they would have these in 35"x35". Yeah, I know, nobody makes that size. 😔They fit kinda high on the waist, definitely not on the hips, but I expected that. The back pockets are a good depth and I don't expect to have any issues with my wallet or anything else falling out. The front pockets are just right, not too short, not too deep and plenty of room for my big hands with an extra large "watch pocket". The leg pockets have buttons instead of the usual velcro which I really like much better. The ONLY thing these don't have that the classic Wrangler Cargo pants have that I wish these had is a phone pocket made into the leg pocket that fits the phone better so that you don't have to open the leg pocket for you phone.Overall, I REALLY like these pants. My score: 4.8 *(Sits slightly too high on waist / No special phone pocket / No button closure for back pockets / No size 35"x35") Yeah, that's really asking a lot. 😏

Good, tough, lightweight summer work pants.
I guess my headline says it all. These pants are tough and lightweight. Great for working in the heat. It also doesnt hurt that the khaki color matches the soil in the area I live.

Very nice pants
These are such good quality. Look great on my husband. He wears them to church and they look nice. We will be buying another pair. Maybe I’m a different color

The different colors are different sizes
I bought several pairs and settled on the 34/32's. But after a short time noticed that the khaki are one and half inches longer than the 'loden' color. See Image. They drag on the ground behind my heels. I guess I have to try again. On another note they are nice work pants (construction). Cheaper than the famous Minnesota brand I usually buy half. I am just to hard on work clothes to spend those big bucks right now. EDIT: Updated photo, notice inseams line up and knee seams line up but pant leg is very long.

My favourite work pants.
I'm a Wrangler guy, so when I found out they made work pants, I had to try them. I'm a carpenter and I love these the best. I've tried the other major brands, but these are the best. Roomy cargo pockets, leather patch on the front right pocket for your tape measure. Smaller pockets for pencils and tools. With these two features, I don't have to wear my tool belt all the time. These are the lightweight version, suited better for the warmer seasons. I have the heavy duty versions for winter and the shorts for summer.
