As an actress, I understand the value of a quality pair of shoes. I have consistently ordered Capezio character shoes whenever I need my tan shoes, but I had state Thespian festival and I needed to get a pair of black character shoes. I wanted to get some that were cheaper than my Capezios because they run from $45-55 per pair. I found these for $40 and thought I would give them a shot. They are exactly what I expect from a cheaper character shoe... The material doesn't feel like leather (like Capezio), there is NO arch support, and they are pretty wide on the sides. Overall, I can't complain too much, which is why I still gave 4 stars. But I will say that if you are wanting shoes that are good quality and that will last more than one show, take it from me... you'll want to spend the extra money and get a pair of genuine leather shoes from a brand that is tried and true.

I bought this for my daughter's musical, and ordered it one half size up and it fit perfectly, but part on the top of the foot was a little big. Other than that, it works out perfectly!

I so wanted a pair of shoes to make dancing easier. However these were never delivered to my house and when I found out where they were it was too late and they had been returned. I went ahead and ordered again but they went to an Amazon hub a second time. I finally picked them up and found not only was the leather not nice and soft but the shoes were so narrow that I could not even get my foot in. I am sending them back again.

It is made for a fat person's foot. After adding a sole pad to it, it fit better. Also one of the heels was attached off center. Not to the degree that it is seen without looking for it though.So far, okay after one night with moderate dancing. Will try it one more night to see if it holds up or not.

Liked the style and where used for a school musical

These are a good value compared to other character shoes. The inside of the shoe is soft and padded, which I like but am not certain how well it will wear. They are also a bit big. I ordered a half-size smaller than street shoe because I like stage shoes to hug my foot. I wish I'd gotten another half-size smaller still. I have medium to wide feet and in addition to being slightly too long they are also quite wide so around the bridge of the foot they have a gap. It's not a problem, but not really the look I was hoping for. The cut around the heel, however, is very nice with an elegant line and the materials feel solid and durable.

Wonderful shoes! Exceptional comfort! Only reason for not giving 5 stars was there was a problem with what ended up in the cart compared to what I ordered... it’s extremely unfortunate as the product received is worthy of 5 stars. Believe it was simply the size I wanted was out of stock so another size kept ending up in my cart. Great customer service and I highly recommend these shoes! These rectified the error promptly!

These are fantastic shoes. Very comfortable and the light cushion on the inside makes them a dream to dance in. Really enjoy this style and have been great for Lindy hop and Balboa dancing. Fits regular shoe size. Seller was also great, they came earlier then expected. Wish they would come in more colours because the fit is absolutely perfect.

These shoes came to me damaged! They were also too small..The seller claims to refund the price of the shoes ..you must pay the return shipping (which cost me almost as much as the shoes did!!) They say they will refund your shipping once they receive the return... but they have not!

They are SO well made. the memory foam, the rose detailing on the foot. This shoe is absolutely stunning! It fits a little large on me so I would go a size smaller next time if they offered one. BUT that being said, I highly recommend these shoes.
