Amazon Brand - Solimo Super Absorbent Puppy Pads, Odor Control Activated Carbon, Regular, 50 Count

My doggie is urinary incontinent because of his advanced age and kidney health, and he wears belly wraps all the time, so I can't speak too much to the absorbency or leak proofing. I use these to line his bed area and give him a place indoors to have a poo because he won't go when I take him outdoors due to vision problems and maybe some anxiety about being in a new place. The pads are affordable and do a great job for the way we use them. They don't tear or shred easily when walked on (or rolled around on, which my doggie loves to do), and the one time I spilled my dog's water dish the pad just sucked it right up, even though the spill had to be at least 16 ounces. Will be buying these again, and would recommend them.

I’ve been very happy with these pads. I’ve read some other reviews which were negative, but that has not been my experience. I initially started with a fresh grass patch delivery, my puppy did well with that and now we’ve transitioned over to these Solimo pads because they’re cheaper and take up less space. My puppy is 11lbs. I’ve had no problem with leaks. The pads are thin, but quite absorbent (my dog took quicker to the pads than the grass —mush be the scent?) The ultimate goal is to be completely house broken; however, I feel confident knowing my puppy will use these if I’m not home, or can’t take him out quick enough. I purchased the charcoal regular size, as they are out of the charcoal XL. I always put two or three regular pads down, overlapping them, as my dog sometimes likes to go right on the edge— for whatever reason when there is a larger area he’s more likely to go in the middle of it. Idk if there is a difference between the color of the products, but I’m sticking with the charcoal because I think it looks better on the floor. Comparing these to several brands/products for adult incontinence —which I’ve used caring for a sick family member and I know people often use for dogs— these are definitely more absorbent and they absorb the smell of the urine too. If I know the dog wet on the pad, I change it as soon as possible, but I know one pad has held up to being urinated on twice with no problem. There is a thin layer of plastic on the edge after the white strip that you have to open up when using, but I’ve had no problems with this laying flat. It’s more of a nuisance that it’s an extra step to unfolding the pad. I’m on my third box, will definitely buy again. I do wish the they would stock the XL in charcoal, as it’s been sold out since I started using these.

My cat doesn’t always get all the way into her litter box so she has accidents on the floor while she thinks she’s in it far enough. I was tired of going in to find pee on the floor all the time, so I tried these. There really nice actually. Occasionally they do leak, though. But they hold odor and are much easier to clean up then the whole floor. Catches a lot of the littler she scratches out of it, too. Disposable so no washing pads all the time. I will buy again unless I run across some that are more leak proof. But overall not bad. They don’t leak every time.

Pleased with the size and they do not leak through the pad.We had to pretty much blanket the floor of a whole room for our elderly dog. The only issue I have with them is sometimes the liquid wouldn't absorb on the white side. It would roll to thre sides and the liquid would end up being trapped between the floor and the slick blue side of the pad.

These pads are good size. We use these for picking up doggy accidents.. we’ve tried laying them down to catch the accidents but our dogs always seem to “miss” the pad or they think they are a toy and rip them up. So we use these to absorb the pee and then we clean the floor. They absorb pretty quickly, and can usually absorb the large majority of a spill. Sometimes we have to use two pads due to uneven floors… the pee travels a bit. Overall my favorite pad, as I have tried many. Good for the price

I would not have written a review but I couldn't help myself. Maybe the people that think they are not absorbent enough need to realize they have to be changed on a regular basis. I have a seventeen pound Shih-Poo that will be eight in July. I have always used puddle pads. I do walk with him quite a bit and he does water everything when we walk. He has been sick and has a fever. Yes, I took him to the vet. My point is, he has been using the pads a lot the past couple of days. He has used other pads but I bought these recently and am very pleased. I have tried Walmart, Sam's Club, and other Amazon vendors. I think these are the best. I can tell the difference. I like two pads down for one dog. A dog likes to walk while having a bowel movement and this provides ample room. If you have two dogs, one pad will not be sufficient for long. I usually have two down and will change them in the morning and at night. At times, I may change more often. My dog also goes to the puddle pads if he can make it if he throws up. I can tell the difference because I have used many brands over several years. These are my choice.

These are really only for very small puppies or dogs, our 13 year old dachshund cannot seem to judge her length and often urinates close to the edge, but still on the pad. It appears that the padding inside the pad is thinner on the edges which causes leakage on the floor and seeps under the pad. I loved the larger ones of this brand, but they have not been available for some time.

The absorbance of this product is great. My dog can pee here up to 4xs and it still absub well. My dog is small so I tested it with a small sized dog. The sent is lavender 💜 and my dog seems to like that soo much he chews up the pad. But I don't blame the pad, he is very young of age and has lots of energy. Sometimes he doesn't like being gated so go figure. But really good for potty training!
