SCIP Laguiole 9-Centimeter Single Blade Pocket Knife with Blonde Horn Handle

This product arrived on time with motor oil, stains and scratches all over...as if it was pulled out of a leaky engine..dirty and discussing. And this for almost $100? You will NOT do well, even if you have an apparent feeling of doing so. Extremely disappointed. I detail collectible items as a hobby and thus had to delicately clean this item; I didn't return it because it was a gift for someone who even pointed out the scratches after my detailing. Disappointed.

At one time I was a custom knife maker. However the cost of making a knife versus the the cost of buying one mass market made drove me out of business. I still love hand made knives and when I saw these in a store I fell in love.Now the store implied they were part of a custom knife collection and charged me accordingly. I decided to look up the knife on line to see about the knife maker and I found this.The knife it self is well made. It fits the hand nicely and is easy to carry in a pants pocket. the workmanship is very good and for a light work knife it is great. But don't be misled into thinking this a custom or hand made knife and BUY from Amazon and save a bundle.These will make a nice gift for the person who wants something elegant and small for light work.
