They're okay, didn't get to use to much but they worked

I like the product concept a lot, but out of the three pack I received only 2 worked. I replaced with new batteries but that didn't fix the problem. So, for $15, it's still a worthwhile purchase, but you could get a dud in the pack.

One out of three didn't work right out of the box. Maybe it just needs a change of batteries, we'll see. The other two work great. Better than bells since they don't sound in the wind. I do wish they made a model that could connect via Bluetooth to your phone.

I really like these little alarms for what they are but there's room for improvement. I use them for nighttime canal fishing and they work if the current isn't too strong. The trigger is very light and the current pulls the line enough to activate the alarm. Lake fishing is fine if there's no current.My hearing isn't the best so I'd like to have adjustable volume (I had a Flathead Cat hit last night but I only saw the blue light flashing. 20 meters was too far too hear the alarm that was screaming away but weakly).I'd only recommend they make a "deluxe"model with adjustable volume and adjustable trigger tension for river and canal fishing where ambient noise can drown or the weaker alarms. I'd gladly pay a few more dollars for one serious alarm rather than three weak ones.UPDATE: I'm sorry to report that 2 of the 3 have stopped working after very light use (I don't even use them at the canals, only light lake fishing). The trigger wheel seems to be the weak spot in its construction. They broke internally, no spring back action and no more workie. The last one of the set is hanging in there but it cries too weakly to be heard if you're being 10 feet. I fear it's days are numbered too.

Received 3 bite alarms and one of the three did not work as I have read from other reviews. Took the batteries out and noticed there was some grease on of one of the batteries. Cleaned it off and alarm work great after that. One of the other three had a very weak alarm. I turned the alarm on manually and tapped the side of alarm at the same time until the problem was corrected. Cheaply made but for the price they work amazingly well.

They worked well at first. Thay started to lose volume. I figured out that the battery compartment is not water tight. This causes the batteries to build up a film that makes power low. Take the batteries out wipe them off and the volume will come back. Overall they work.

When using these fish alarms for the first time, i must say i am impressed. I am an avid fisherman and and fish nearly every day in the spring. I live on a fairly calm smsll lake and rigged a slip sinker rig for catfish along with my fish alarm. I fish off my dock and like using 2 rods. Sensitivity is perfect for me, and it did not set off any false alarms, even with s few wakes from boats and jet skis. Caught a few nice channel cats. They do exactly as advertised. My only complaint has been the size of the clamp being too large for even my catfish rod, but managed to make it work by moving it down to the fat part of the rod handle just in front of my spinning reel. As far as the volumn is concerned, i found it to be ok, even sitting close.

A bit too sensitive otherwise easy to install, more or less is the size of an hand watch.

The delivery was fast ,the alarm's should do what I want, but I have to wait for Summer to put them to the test .
